Great authentic taqueria. Went by myself and ate at the counter. First time visiting.
Homemade guacamole. You can watch the staff mash up the avocado by hand. Fresh and delicious. Also enjoyed a torta sandwich. Very delicious.
I am guessing that the staff working are husband and wife owners. I can't be sure of this. Regardless, they had obvious pride w the food quality. Bonus points, the (open) kitchen was spotlessly clean. I was sitting 6 feet away. Latex gloves were also used with food handling.
I will be back. Great local joint!

We moved in the neighborhood and now this is our favorite spot . The food is so good and the steak meat is seriously amazing and not fatty like a lot of places . The staff is so friendly and nice . I even forgot my purse there by accident and I came back an hour later and they had my purse . I was so grateful .
Best tacos in Chicago hands down. Great services. Guacamole is freshly made. I was sad they ran out of Flan but it was 1a.m so I'll let slide this time.lol

I just had what was prob worst experience taqueria wise. I ordered the suadero and it was edible it nit extremely salty thats fine, then a pastor that was slightly better but had no texture just mush and finally i tasted the charred gravel of what they call chorizo… horrendous! Worst part i sent it back and asked if i could just get another pastor since i just tried a forkful of the chorizo. Denied! Awful customer service all around from the heavy set female server to the cook. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location. The far superior locale by these people is on montrose and clark.
