Walked in here by accident and ended up loving everything. They give what looked like a Pescado ceviche as the table food and that was delicious. They have 3 different salsas with varying spice levels - they all tastes great. Tacos came out crispy and the meat was juicy and flavorful. I really enjoyed the Jamaica as it wasn’t too sour and not too sweet either. The birria consume was flavorful and hearty and not super heavy. I tried the camarones à la diabla and it was spicy, filling and had great flavor. The fires were crinchy and crispy, the bread was soft and light and the diabla sauce wasn’t super overpowering. If you’re not into spicy food I wouldn’t recommend getting this because it is on the higher end of being spicy.
Very big portions and you’ll definitely be satisfied with whatever you get.

El Gallo is the kind of hole-in-the-wall spot that looks like it grants wishes and it does, as long as you’re wishing for meat. The taco al pastor was a juicy little flavor grenade and the torta de asada came stacked like it was trying to impress someone. Mission accomplished.
The red sauce came in hot with big emotions and a sour attitude, like it had beef with my taste buds.
