Very yummy and nicely priced. The shrimp and cheese pupusas were quite good and I’ve never had a tamale that moist. The empanada was chorizo was a bit dry. Overall, would come back.

The pupusas did not have any flavor and the filling was so little . also the slaw and cause it comes with also wad tasteless. I do not recommended , save your money.

I have been to this place around three times thinking I can’t judge on first time going.,but I don’t recommend this restaurant to eat for various reasons, not only the owners not polite, don’t smile , nor you welcome or a thank you! First walk in it smelled funny, pupusas where dry not enough meat or cheese inside, we also ordered rellenos de frijole let me tell you these where the smallest I ever seen for a costly price ! One of the Female Cook came to bring a super hot atol de elote to my husband and it burned him and when I told her she over filled it to point it jumped out on him and burn him she laughed and said oh si and walked away! ? don’t need to tell you there was no tip left and never returning ! I don’t recommend this place at all ! Trying to post pictures

You want to taste horrible salvadorean food, El Guanaco is the place. Pupusas with no meat, pure maseca, the curtido with no taste of vinegar, yuca frita really disappointed.I just to go to the other Guanaco restaurant at Grand, everything was so delicious but now is closed, also the service very bad, they treat you like they are giving you the food for free.Go to Latin Patio at Central Ave and Belmont and you really will taste what a delicious pupusa is.

Food was horribly, didn'thave the salad that goes with it. Everything was disgusting, the pupusa were out of meat and the tacos meat was hard and old ? mala comida horrible las pupusas eran solo masa y el pollo de los tacos era pollo duros y no traia la ensaladas.
