So happy to have found this place. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the service attentive but not hovery. We enjoyed the enchiladas with mole and a house special carnitas w/ a mango plantain salsa. Tasty traditional margarita (rocks) and a really good mango margarita. Loved the tres leche cake. One of the best I've have ever had. And a 10 presentation.

This is one of the very few restaurants that rivals my mother's homemade Mexican food. The food is authentic and full of flavor. I highly recommend the enchiladas with salsa verde. A true gem in the neighborhood, and my go-to place for Mexican food.

My boyfriend and I have come here many times, and it has been consistently outstanding! The staff is always so incredibly friendly and attentive; they are definitely a highlight of the restaurant. The food is amazing and the drinks are very generous. I have nothing but good things to say about El Nuevo Mexicano and can’t recommend it enough!
