We chose this restaurant because it was close to the Studebaker Theater and our parking. The ambience is absolutely delightful. The menu is full of possibilities, regardless of your appetite. Burgers and sandwiches for a lighter appetite and delicious looking entrées for a full dinner. After noticing the deep dish pizza as we were walking to our table, we decided to order that and a large salad to split for three. There was more than enough food, and it was all really good. Food was delicious; especially the Cobb and Greek salads. Wings were very good, just will remember to order the sauce on the side; but the spicy garlic was outstanding. My guest enjoyed the the Reuben.

My dad had been going to exchequer pub for about 35 years before he passed away. It was one of his favorite places downtown! My husband and I went there to pay homage to my dad and prior to the Chicago Symphony. It was an excellent experience and we will go again. My only complaint is that I had planned to order thin crust pizza just like my dad. After drinks and a great shared harvest salad course the waiter came to take our dinner order - he said the pizza would take at least...
