Don't let the location of this restaurant fool you because they make some pretty good Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. It's located at the corner of Montrose and Clark in a strip mall. I started off my trying some of their drinks. I tried their mint lemonade and the mango drink. I really loved the mint lemonade. It's not a flavor that I think would go together, but it really worked. The mango drink was good, and for those who like it a bit on the sweeter side hits is the drink for you. I also enjoyed their food. Out of all of the dishes I tried, I loved the kabob combination plate the most. You get four types types of kabob, kafta, chicken, steak and chicken shawarma. The rice was fluffy and my favorite was the kafta kabob. The kafta kabob was juicy and delicious. Of the vegetarian dishes I tried, my favorite was the falafel. It was crispy and had a nice taste. Also, I liked there is plentiful free parking. Since it is located in strip mall, you have access to a large parking lot. This is always a plus in a city with many restrictions on street parking and expensive parking meters. Overall, if you want good Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food this is a must visit.
Falafel and grill is an amazing fast causal resturant with two locations in Chicago and a third on the way. I can’t recommend this spot enough if you love Mediterranean food! The falafel wrap was one of a kind and it was so flavorful, one of the best I’ve had! All of the portions are huge! The come with hummus and salad which is always such a treat!!
I come from a big Lebanese family, so I'm very critical of Lebanese food, but everything I had at Falafel & Grill was outstanding. We started with their fresh juices, then asked the employees for their favorite dishes. We ended up ordering the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, Veggie Combo Plate, and Chicken and Beef Kabobs. Each plate came with hummus that was incredibly smooth and flavorful. Our favorite dish was the Beef Kabobs! The portions are HUGE – we had leftovers for days! Overall, we will definitely be back again very soon!
It was takeout

GO TO PITA INN. Guy kept asking if we were sure we wanted to do take out and said yes, just because we didn’t dine we got garbage cold food costing 50$. IT TOOK 30minutes to receive take out food and was completely disappointed WAS NOT WORTH NO DAMN 50$ I could’ve got 2 full plates for 23$ at PITA IN 100x better. The bread was cold and hard NOT FRESH AND SOFT. BABA GHANOU came in a preset container COLD, the meat in the sandwich was reheated. THATS WHAT THE HELL I WAITED 30MINUTES FOR? People who came in after got their food first. I wouldn’t ever buy from them again. I paid the same amount as dining inside why would the food be less quality? Then make the take out prices way less cuz it sure as hell wasn’t worth half a bill. Like I said Pita Inn would’ve slapped 100x more, hot food, and extra to eat the next day.

I had the pleasure of dining at Falafel & Grill and tried their lentil soup as well as the chicken falafel plate. The food was solid and satisfying, delivering exactly what you’d expect from a casual Mediterranean eatery.
The lentil soup was warm and comforting, with simple yet authentic flavors. The chicken falafel plate was well-prepared, with tender chicken and flavorful falafel, complemented by fresh sides and sauces. It’s clear that Falafel & Grill aims to offer straightforward, hearty dishes that stay true to their style, and they accomplish that well.
If you’re looking for a casual spot to enjoy good Mediterranean food, this is a great choice. The food aligns well with the restaurant’s vibe and intentions, making for a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for some solid Mediterranean flavors!

Always good. Food is consistent
I took a gyro sandwich for $10 just now, it was too small that it won’t be enough to a kid as well.
Idk why people make such menus, they should have mentioned the size, if it’s not the standard size.
Little disappointment. Now I have to find another halal restaurant to fill my stomach.
Awful delivery experience; when it was an hour late I called and they said they’d contact the driver who picked up the food awhile ago, to their credit they did apologize and they said they’d look into it. The store never called me back and just left me in limbo, again, so I called again and they said they couldn’t find or reach their driver. Food finally arrived an hour and half later, cold and gross.
Delicious food, the gyro is solid, the baba ghanouj was great and the tabbouleh was one of the best I've had!

This was a fantastic meal. The chicken shawarma was nice and crispy. The meat was good but not amazing. Baba ganoush was delish. Their hummus was unlike any I’ve eaten. Extremely creamy. Their olive oils tasted top notch. I also got the kofta sandwich and it was juicy and toasted. The onion on top was a great addition. One of the best this style food I’ve ever had. Would have been nice to have a white sauce like Halal Bros, but they charge 50 cents for a tiny cup.

my waffle fries are always made fresh when I order. they give you a ton for just $5, way better than any of the big chains if you've got a fry craving.
