I expected to really like NoodleBird but was disappointed. Pork & ginger dumplings Very good. Lots of flavor, tasty sauce a the bottom. I love dumplings... who doesn't? Girlfriend got a non-alcoholic drink that she liked Ginger cabbage salad Super lame. The cabbage was cut into big pieces as opposed to shredded. Because of this, there wasn't enough surface area for the thin dressing to cling to it. The dressing just dripped off, so you're just eating a big bowl of rough-chopped cabbage. The dressing was tasty but either it needs to be thicker or the cabbage needs to be shredded so they'll stay together. Fat noodles with minced beef The noodles were good, they were fat and enjoyable, but overwhelmed the beef by a long shot. They had no flavor, and any sauce just dripped off of them so you're just eating a mouthful of plan noodles. The flavor of the beef was good but there was way too many noodles for that little beef. Somehow you need to get flavor to stick to those noodles and that didn't happen. Ambiance was good. We sat at the bar. The waiter was nice but after not coming back for a while we ordered at the counter, no prob, it was busy. A little on the loud side for me, but not a big deal. I don't plan to go back.

Kid-friendliness: They have a cute kids menu which includes a fabulous take on Mac n cheese.

Food is amazing, staff is very accommodating. Space to not big so can sometimes get a little cramped but not unusual for Logan

First timer review. Went on a Friday night around 7pm and maybe waited for a few minutes to get a table for 3 (reasonable wait time) since they don't take reservations. It's a small place so they have bar seating and a few small tables. You can order either at the register or via QR code. Everything is pretty much self-service as far as placing your order, getting water and utensils. We ordered the spicy smokey chicken fried rice and the special lamb noodles. Both dishes were a bit disappointing. The fried rice had no spice and no flavor. I was expecting more of a traditional fried rice feel and taste. The unbelievable hot sauce is not spicy at all and doesn't have a taste. The lamb noodles were full of peppercorn flavor that makes your tongue tingly and numb. Customer service was good, but the food didn't meet our expectations. I don't believe I will return to try other items on the menu.

Absolutely delicious. 10/10. Between the ginger salad, the noodles, and the spicy smokey fried rice alone I will absolutely be coming back?

Don’t order from here. They just leave your food on the sidewalk without even calling. And their phone number just leads directly to a voicemail without even ringing so there is no way to get in touch with the actual restaurant.

I used to really like this place but they must have a different cook or something because lately my orders have been tasting terrible. No flavor. Especially the Dan Dan Noodles.

Everything on this menu that I've tried has been fantastic. I've gone here after eating other places just to get the custard tarts to finish the night.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free and dairy-free menu items.

A long overdue review. Noodlebird is one of the best restaurants in Chicago. Every dish is full-flavored, bold, and made with thoughtful and creative pairings. The smoked tofu is incredible, the curry is my favorite, the peanut noodles are so soft and delicious, and the veggie Mac soup is one of my favorites. The bakery is also one of the best in the city. The creative desserts like mochi doughnuts, banana caramel brownie (my favorite brownie ever), the egg tarts (a must if you’ve never tried), the passion fruit Masada, and so many more are the perfect way to end the meal. The service is top notch, timely, super friendly, and warm.Noodlebird deserves any and all accolades for its super-creative dishes, friendly service, intensely flavored food, etc.

SO GOOD! We had one of their specials with XO noodles, which might have been my favorite but the pork dumplings were also amazing. The char siu bun was amazing and the dan dan noodles were fabulous as well. We took some pastries to go. Don't sleep on this place- we went in at 11am on a Sunday and it was quiet though picked up by the time we were leaving. The food was definitely underhyped!

The charcoal chicken was so good, so juicy and so flavorful, get a little extra bird sauce on the side to pour over the rice and babbyyyy you got a good thing going!! Also the chicken curry puff pastry, the ginger lime soda, the passionfruit doughnut. Omg Chile everything was good! Highly recommend! I wish I got a chance to take pictures, but the food didn't last three seconds in my presence lmaoo

They claim to have 100% gluten free items. They are liars. Do not eat here if you cannot have gluten.
