The atmosphere is incredibly inviting—warm, cozy, and beautifully designed. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and want to settle in for a while. The food was just as enjoyable as the atmosphere. Whether you’re meeting up with friends, getting some work done, or simply enjoying a great meal, this place is an easy choice.
There’s really not much I can add that hasn’t already been said about Four Letter Word Coffee. Everything you’ve heard is true. Chicago has no shortage of outstanding coffee shops, but this place absolutely deserves its spot at the very top. If you appreciate great coffee, this is one place you shouldn’t miss.

This cozy shop has a small menu, but it's well-executed, showcasing incredible pulls on the espresso that make it a standout. The vibe is a pretty cool and chill, easy place to relax and read or do some quiet work. The decor combines cozy elements with a contemporary and Japanese-inspired twist, making it a must-visit spot for coffee lovers. Some customers have noted a preference for other iced coffee options, but many agree that the specialty drinks, including the Lever espresso and Gesha, are worth the drive. The staff is friendly and often provides excellent recommendations, ensuring a great experience for all who visit. Please please please get the vanilla pandan latte, it's a cup of therapy for your soul! The employees were very friendly and eager to answer questions about their coffees. Absolute best espresso in the city, and maybe the best espresso ever had, hands down.
