Service was great. The food was very expensive for so little and the food wasn't the greatest. I got the steak. I've had better elsewhere.

The food can occasionally be decent, but most of the time it’s really disappointing. Some servers are friendly, but more often than not they come across as rude. It’s unfortunate, because the lack of professionalism from the staff ends up ruining the entire experience.

A couple could split the entree, food amazing extensive drink list open and serves food late in quiet locale with plenty of parking it’s lit 10/10 gem hidden in the city

Tried this little gem tonight and it was spectacular! Server was awesome... Thanks Sophia! Food was so yummy. The Very Berry salad was excellent and the Supreme pizza was yummy! The beverage which was called The Ginger something was super delicious!

Late night 🌙 munchies

One of the best late night bars you can go to! Michelle is the light of my life. The food is so good. I try something new everytime because I can’t believe it can get better and it DOES!!! WHOS IN that KITCHEN!!! HOW IS IT THIS GOOD!!!! Whoever owns this place NEEDS TO OPEN MORE RESTAURANTS!!!

We rented the back space for a birthday party and could not have been happier with the service we received. From the very start of the planning stages to the actual day of the event, everything was well organized. Communication was no problem, and every detail was accounted for. The staff was very attentive and kind, and the food was outstanding. We would definitely have another event at Fireside.

Not the place it used to be.
This used to be on our top 5 list of places, but something changed lately. Last few times have been challenging.

Disclaimer to state that the manager did apologize for the service and kitchen mistakes and discount the bill. We didn't have the heart to complain about the food too, but it was awful in comparison to how it was previous years.

Our actual server was nice and friendly but so much went wrong! No menus, then menus with missing pages, wrong food, cold food, no napkins or silverware for awhile after getting food... so about that...

Food has gone SO downhill it's sad. I used to get this amazing grilled salmon... which is now apparently boiled or something, absolutely NO seasoning or flavor whatsoever! I was genuinely surprised this was served to anyone. No flavor no spice and no special butter as the menu mentions. My husband said his fish and chips were OK but came cold as well as the fries.

Finally, some favorite drinks disappeared from the menu, including the one real mocktail I loved.

We're just sad to lose one of our old favorites, but it seems like there's no going back now unless there's a major management shake-up or something.

Vibes impeccable. Hostess complimented my glasses and they played Ain't No Rest for the Wicked, it's great.

(food was also great, got the jacked up burger with sweet potato tots and the catfish. Really good)

In all the times I've visited Chicago, this is one of my favorite places I found. Solid menu. Fantastic beer selection with plenty of local brews. I tried the blackened catfish dinner. Very satisfying. Wonderful neighborhood too!

Our company party was there, right next to the festive fireplace. Our server was excellent for the 12 of us. Excellent food! 5 Stars!!

Awesome service and delicious food. The gouda mac and cheese will feed anyone for days and the spicy chicken sandwich does not disappoint. Very fun spot, super relaxed.
