This is a special place! You can feel the care and love that is put into every aspect of Floriole as soon as you walk in the door. It was one of the first places I visited in Chicago, and I've kept coming back over the last decade for a reason.
Love this bakery. Their quiche is so rich and custardy. The spinach one I did not love the spinach was at the top and not mixed in through the quiche, but the classic one was delicious. Also I love love love their almond croissants. Things are in the pricer side but really good food and lovely service and place.
I’ve been a regular customer at this bakery for a couple of years now, specifically for their freshly baked seeded sourdough. I have yet to find anything like it! The staff is usually friendly. There was one time though when I ordered bread delivery on a day I couldn’t get out of the house, and got a stale loaf delivered. I knew right away because I’m a sourdough baker myself. I called the bakery, and they didn’t give me a hard time at all with an exchange for a fresher...
