As of June 2023 this is now called Kirei. It's a Japanese-American fusion restaurant in the Whitehall hotel. We had an excellent breakfast and others around us gave equally high praise on their breakfast. Looking forward to returning for dinner.

The pastas was delicious, but the meat was overcooked.
The White Hall premises (?) Restaurant ㅋUnexpected pizza restaurant.. I liked the crispiness of the freshly baked dough and the freshness of the salad.
very cozy
I had been craving pizza and hadn't been back here for a long time. It's part of the Whithall Hotel and it's never very busy. I'm glad I made the time to go back. The same chef is still making her delicious thin crust pizza. While my favorite pizza is Spaca Napoli, I can say this is my favorite in the Gold Coast area. I had them make me a prosciutto arugula pizza and I was in pizza heaven. They started out by bringing me their homemade warm bread with olive oil while I waited for the pizza to me made and it was also very good. I can't wait to go back!! Also the staff is very nice, and it's a quiet atmosphere. The other dishes on the menu are also good.
Rooms (and there were many to choose from) were the best part of this restaurant. Service was extremely slow. Had to go find waitress to bring us menus and waters. When she finally brought out the charcuterie plate it was underwhelming. Soups and salads and entrees were practically brought out at the same time! We had to keep asking for our waters to be refilled. Oh, and we were overcharged. Luckily we caught the error and they fixed the bill. Would not recommend or be back.
I went here to celebrate my boyfriend birthday. The place is quiet and kind of romantic. Food and wine was good.
We were looking for something a little different and less expensive. We found Fornetto Mei! We split a Caesar salad and short ribs with polenta and mushrooms. There was plenty of food on our plates. The pizzas and starters also looked great. Located on the ground floor of the Whitehall Hotel- this is a great place to dine. Highly recommended.?
Celebrated our Anniversary here, wonderful staff and large variety of alcohol beverages to select from while enjoying the amazing setting
Pizza was very good. One of the wines was undrinkable and the other okay. Service was almost non-existent. Will not return, despite its excellent location.
Restaurantji Recommends
This restaurants let's you make a Saturday lunch reservation on opentable- but they are not open on Saturday at lunch! We ended up going to Bistronomic which was superb! I'd recommend anyone go there anytime instead of this restaurant.
Friendly staff, good service, nice atmosphere. We ordered dessert which was unimpressive. The lemon creme brûlée was basically more like scrambled eggs. Wouldn't go back based on that... but maybe it was just an off night?
Ragu was just a pork beef mix in tomato sauce, pasta was Al dente. avocado pesto penne had no avocado and was a tasteless goop. No bread for us but others got bread and olive oil. Caesar dressing with anchovies didn't grind into it the dressing but loose whole pieces. Coffee was closer to water. the lemon creme brulee was almost without lemon was not properly set nor crusted. Glad I didn't order the pizza though, our next table mates did and the crust was floppy.
Delicious food and great atmosphere
