Four Seasons Dumplings 四季饺子馆

Went in for the first time since I was in the area. Normally, I don't eat dumplings but we decided to try something new. My boyfriend got the pork dumplings with shrimp and chives (panfried) and I got the lamb with dill (panfried). We were amazed how fresh, juicy, and full of flavor these dumplings were. We both loved how filling they were & just how affordable everything was! We also got a drink which made our total $34 (taxes added $3 & a few cents). All in all, we will definitely be coming back! A perfect date night spot - especially during subzero weather!

I love ordering my fried dumplings pork, veggie etc and vegetable fried rice with jalapeños. Found this place by chance on google.Didn't put a star on atmosphere because we have always ordered delivery. Custumer service is always great even though its been over the phone. Keep it up. Will order soon.

The food was steaming hot coming out an so incredibly delicious. I ordered beef fried rice and their three variation dumplings, which had chives, shrimp, and egg. The fried rice had good chunks of beef and was very filling, flavorful, and good portion. The dumplings arrived in a steamer basket and were so juicy, I was making a mess on the table! I did take home leftovers. Very tasty, and a popular place for order pickups while I was here.

Dining in vibes are okay. Traditional Chinese decor. Plenty of seating at tables or booths, a cute little fountain by the door, and a TV setup playing gentle romantic music. Waiter was attentive when I arrived and ordered, checked in on me while eating, but I was sitting awhile before I pay and leave. It’s a small-owned place though.

Absolutely amazing! The food exceeded my expectations, and the service was outstanding. You can really tell they care about quality and customers. This is one of my favorite restaurants now. Highly recommended!

Great food and great value! The dumplings and Northeastern Chinese dishes were delicious, with generous portions and friendly service. Would definitely come back!

Authentic northern-style chinese dumplings. This is our go-to spot when we have cravings for high quality delicious dumplings! All of the flavors we have tried so far are top-notch. Pair them with an order of hot-and-sour soup.

I am not sure I understand the generally favorable view of this restaurant. The dumplings are very mediocre, Northern Taste down the street is better.

The rest of their menu is outclassed by numerous Northeast restaurants in the same neighborhood. Uncle Zhang and Potsticker House or the aforementioned Northern Taste.

This saddens me as both previous tenants were amazing.

I WISH I COULD DO NEGATIVE 10 STARS

HORRIBLE!!!! WE ORDERED THROUGH GRUBHUB WAITED A FULL HOUR FOR OUR FOOD WITH NO UPDATE, SO I CALLED. MIND YOU I CALLED CALMLY, THE GUY SAID THEY WERE VERY BUSY AND THAT IT WAS ANOTHER 20 MIN WAIT. SAYING THE DELIVERY GUY HAD ALREADY TOOK OUR ORDER AND THAT WE HAD TO WAIT. I SAID OK AND JUST WAITED... NEARLY AN HOUR LATER I CALLED AGAIN AND THE GUY DIDN'T KNOW WHERE THE DELIVERY GUY WAS... MIND YOU MY ORDER WAS PLACED AT 6:48 PM DIDN'T ARRIVE UNTIL 8:32PM!!!!

DUMPLINGS!
This place is awesome; great food, friendly service and some of the most delicious dumplings in Chicago. We had their egg rolls, beef Lo Mein, and Lamb Carrot pan fried dumplings. Everything was flavorful and fresh, and the dumplings were full of meat and super juicy.

They give massive portions for each order, which I like a lot.

The northern style pancake was exceptional-super crispy.

The lamb and dill dumplings were solid and well balanced. We got them boiled and they were much better than the shrimp, pork, and chive dumplings we got that were fried. The latter dumplings were way too chive forward, with little shrimp or pork flavor which was disappointing.

We also got pork bao and while they were massive, they had a huge amount of air in the middle along with the filling. The flavor of it was okay.

It’s a no frills option in the area. Maybe we didn’t get the right items on the menu.
