Happy Lamb Hot Pot offers an enjoyable dining experience with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The broths are flavorful, especially the spicy broth, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The all-you-can-eat option provides good value, with attentive staff ensuring everything runs smoothly. Customers praise the wide variety of options, including the self-serve buffet-style setup, and the satisfying, full-belly feeling after each visit. The location is fairly new, and the moment customers walk in, they can smell the soup broth. While the induction plate may take some time to heat the broth, the overall experience is highly recommended for a delicious hot pot meal. Many visitors mention the great selection of meats, veggies, and seafood, with some ordering their soup bases and most meats at the table, while the buffet line offers additional veggies, noodles, seafood, and sauces. The restaurant has a clean, contemporary look with comfortable seating and some back rooms for larger parties. Servers work hard to keep everything running smoothly, making this spot a favorite for repeat visits. Customers also enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the ability to celebrate special occasions with free meals for the birthday person. Many reviews highlight the reasonable prices and the variety of options, including a self-serve buffet with veggies, eggs, fish, fried rice, and lo mein. There is also a small bar with dessert options like coconut or mocha cake, fruits, and ice cream. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness, fresh veggies, and high-quality meats, and some mention that there is rarely a wait for a table, even without reservations. Overall, Happy Lamb Hot Pot is considered one of the best all-you-can-eat hot pot places in the Chicago area, loved for its friendly service, cozy environment, and tasty offerings.
