“What caught my eyes immediately is the elaborate decoration, makes for a very fun dining experience. The food is great and fresh. Service is quick and efficient. They have insanely spicy broth options for those who are up for a challenge. Though my 1 complaint is that the spicy broth is too oily.“

On the bright side, there was also a wide selection of pre-cooked food available such as rice, fruit, veggies, delectable little square cake thingies, although I did not recognize about 80% of what was in that area which was scary because I am easily frightened

The meat and broth was pretty alright, but it didn't stand out much. uhhh hang on lemme think of other stuff about this place hmmmmmmmm ok my group was large and we got our own room which was nice since interacting with strangers is scary because I am easily frightened

“This hotpot experience was fantastic! The meat quality was great for the price, particularly the ribeyes and briskets, which I absolutely loved. The pork was decent, and I didn’t try the chicken. They had a great variety of green vegetable options, although adding some lemon grass would have really enhanced the flavors. The sides were incredible; they even tasted better than the main course meat and vegetables. It’s a good idea to create your own sets of two sauces: one with green chilies, cilantro, and their house sauce, and the other with sweet tones. These sauces complemented the tonkatsu broth perfectly. Highly recommended!“

“This was my third time visiting, and my second time visiting with my husband. On our first visit and today’s visit we had Jose as our server. Jose was so friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. He had asked my husband if he wanted a disposable bib since he was wearing a white shirt (which we thought was hilarious) but he explained that it was from personal experience and I would’ve never considered something like that for this type of meal, my husband accepted the offer and needless to say his shirt was spotless and mine was not. During our first visit we had our 2 toddlers with us and he never made us feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed because of the kids and was very understanding and respectful. I cannot recommend him enough if you stop at this location. Thank you Jose for making my birthday dinner special!“

“Have been eating here since April of this year at least once a month and the food is amazing! This is my favorite place to eat, food is always fresh and the service is quick once seated. Always have put my name on their waitlist online because there typically is a long wait. Once seated, the wait never disappoints.“

“I had such a great experience at Zhang Liang Malatang! The food was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful broth paired perfectly with fresh ingredients that you can customize exactly to your taste. Every bite felt satisfying and comforting.
What really stood out to me, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive, making sure everything was just right. The whole dining experience felt welcoming and well-organized.
