“What caught my eyes immediately is the elaborate decoration, makes for a very fun dining experience. The food is great and fresh. Service is quick and efficient. They have insanely spicy broth options for those who are up for a challenge. Though my 1 complaint is that the spicy broth is too oily.“

“They removed the self-serve setup by the wall. Now they are using the paper menu that you mark what you want and they will bring to your table. It is fine if you eat lunch or when they are not so busy but if it’s dinner or weekends you may wait for a while to get foods served. I personally like the self-serve style more since I don’t need to wait. I came for lunch $23.99/person, it’s not busy, the staff served foods quickly, no wait.“

“Came in before closing and it was more than enough time to eat. I made 3 soups with my pot and everything tasted so good. Tofu, mushrooms, greens, veggies, etc. was soo great and fresh. Each order of meat was enough for 2 people to share. Shrimp was good and so was every steak option. Honestly anything you decide will be a good choice. I would come back.“

“Atmosphere was very quiet ,they are very polite., your pot comes to your table you get to put in what you would like to eat you pick your meat they bring it to your table everything else you pick out how you want and how you choose to eat your food they have fried rice there they have regular rice there they have all types of green vegetables that you might want to put in lettuce bok choy spinach cilantro fresh bean sprouts just a whole array of different types of things all kinds of noodles within. rice noodles the big noodles, just everything all kinds of protein I even had squid or they have whatever you you thing you wanted to try so many veggies that you can almost make a salad. you fix it. “This was my third time visiting, and my second time visiting with my husband. On our first visit and today’s visit we had Jose as our server. Jose was so friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. He had asked my husband if he wanted a disposable bib since he was wearing a white shirt (which we thought was hilarious) but he explained that it was from personal experience and I would’ve never considered something like that for this type of meal, my husband accepted the offer and needless to say his shirt was spotless and mine was not. During our first visit we had our 2 toddlers with us and he never made us feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed because of the kids and was very understanding and respectful. I cannot recommend him enough if you stop at this location. Thank you Jose for making my birthday dinner special!“

“Amazing lunch for all you can eat hot pot. The smell hit right away when I walked in, and that little cow shaped tallow in the split pot was such a fun touch without feeling gimmicky. I went for the spicy beef tallow side with the golden chicken broth, and the contrast really worked. Staff were warm and easygoing, which made the whole meal feel relaxed 🙂“

“I had such a great experience at Zhang Liang Malatang! The food was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful broth paired perfectly with fresh ingredients that you can customize exactly to your taste. Every bite felt satisfying and comforting.
What really stood out to me, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive, making sure everything was just right. The whole dining experience felt welcoming and well-organized.

We took the Mussaman chicken and pad thai shrimp. Both were great, the Pad Thai was top .
I ordered Decency spice, it was spicy but great flavor. You better handle the spice if you take it.“
