“Sorry, no pix, but this was a taste of nostalgia! I grew up in Taiwan and haven't had such great hot pot in years.
Also, they were efficient: It was easy to order and easy to see what I had ordered to tally where we were in our bill.
Delicious!“

“This place is awesome! We went for a girls night and enjoyed the whole hotpot experience! The lamb is halal here, so we were happy to have a meat option. However, the veggie broth itself is so flavorful—having just veggies would have been just fine! By the end of the night we were drinking cups of the broth, because of how flavorful it was!! If you like spicy, definitely get the spicy broth! You won’t regret it. Appreciated how clean the place was—the staff were great about checking in and refilling the broth regularly! Will definitely be going back for more!!“

“I stopped by Happy Lamb Hot Pot (Bridgeport) on a chilly evening with friends and it was exactly the kind of communal food experience that hits the spot when you want warmth, flavor, and a little celebration around the table. The thing that stands out right away is how fresh everything feels — from the thinly sliced meats (especially the lamb) to the crisp vegetables and bouncy noodles — and the broth options range from mild and savory to boldly spicy if you’re craving heat.
It’s a pick-your-own adventure sort of meal: you choose your broth base, pile your plate with meats, greens, mushrooms, tofu, and more, then cook it all right at the table in the simmering pot. Between generous portions and lots of little dipping sauces, every bite feels personalized and fun. The vibe inside is casual and lively — people chatting, laughing, juggling chopsticks, and swapping ingredients back and forth — so it feels less like a restaurant and more like a dinner party that just happens to have really good broth.
Service was prompt and helpful with suggestions on broths and sauces, which is nice if you’re new to hot pot. It’s not fancy, but it’s cozy, social, and delicious — perfect for a group outing or when you want a hands-on meal that keeps you warm from the inside out.“

“Worth the money! First time I feel it was worth it with an AYCE place, comparing with other AYCE places. I like the sauce, I just mixed it randomly but I love !! I don’t know what type of green chili they used in the sauce mixing station but it was not very spicy. I love eating chili but I can’t handle the spicy level. But that one just works right. I love the deserts. It was amazing, yummy, the avocado smoothie was prefect, tasted like how they make it in Asia. I DID NOT FEEL WELCOMED IN THE FRONT AREA WITH THE GIRLS. But the customer service was good when we sat, whoever came checked us out he was nice. I came to other places in chicago and had bad experiences, so this one made my day. Please open one in DFW area in Texas.“

“This malatang restaurant was really good and I’m glad we tried it. I liked how you get to pick your own ingredients and make your bowl exactly how you want it. The broth had a lot of flavor and wasn’t too spicy unless you wanted it to be. Everything tasted fresh, especially the noodles and vegetables. The place was clean and the workers were nice and helpful when we had questions. I would definitely go back again, tasted amazing.“

“Viet fusion has brought me back to Vietnam. Fresh ingredients you can TASTE! The owner is so wonderful and very friendly! Ordered the FAMOUS bahn mi(viet fusion bahn mi), I kept hearing about and let me say.. this is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Fresh, crispy and delicious. Presentation was amazing as well. Bread was soft and I wanted to order another LOL. Pho here is traditional and I can say the servings are large! Don’t be shy to ask what’s in the soup! Drink menu is also available just have to ask! I will be back! So happy I finally went in to try.“

“Stopped here for lunch on a Wednesday. Not crowded at all, service was fast and nice, and food was hot and fresh. Portion sizes are a good value for the money at $14/plate. Look at how much tofu is on the Pad Thai plate! Regardless, there is certainly better Thai food out there. I would try another location before coming back, but mostly based on flavor. The place is decent and clean, but they played loud Thai/Asian hip hop during the whole lunch hour. I found it really annoying and I am musically flexible!“

“Only the crispy chicken bones are delicious! I ordered another one!
The other sauces were weird (the sauce for fish tofu and chicken skin didn't taste good at first bite). Mutton skewers or beef skewers, one is delicious and the other is not. Bacon and enoki mushrooms, the bacon was delicious, but a few bunches of enoki mushrooms lacked flavor/were not too cooked.
The grilled cold noodles are average, but I'm too hungry, and the egg and ham sausage is indeed delicious, but it's not as good as the one at the school gate.
Grilled eggplant, eggplant won’t taste bad! I’ve finished eating it anyway!
The garlic crayfish has no taste. I feel that the crayfish needs to be spicy.
Qingkou, are you okay? No special impression.“
