Amazing spot truly a hidden gem in Chicago. Dinned here a few times now and it's a wonder how they have kept the classics atmosphere! It's like a trip to 1960s France and Italy, as they say on the menu true to its roots for the last 60 years. Amazing wine, incredibly friendly staff, decadent desserts and the slightly ever so obvious racist Manager/ host ka+e. If you can look past the dim lit atmosphere, I definitely recommend it.

Great food and service. Wear clothes that you don’t mind immediately cleaning the oils stay in the fibers and require immediate cleaning.

Geja's has been a favorite for years and they continue to maintain the highest standards of food and service. There is a reason they are always voted the most romantic restaurant in Chicago. The cozy feel, great wine selection, and live music cannot be topped.Vegetarian options: They have great vegetarian fondue options for the main course and will give the vegetarians their own oil if they are dining with meat eatersDietary restrictions: They have gluten free options for all courses and will give those who need gluten free cheese/oil/chocolate their own pot

This was a five star experience for certain! Great food, ambiance, and service! I do need to add that valet parking is available but once we came out the guy was gone so we had to hunt down our key. It was a mishap but the professionalism remained in tact. I would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed a magical evening here with my fiance to celebrate a big anniversary: 10 years together and last dating anniversary before our wedding! The ambiance was divine: red and sepia lighting, exposed brick, bistro wall decor, the wine walls, live flamenco guitarist, and lattices on the windows. Just walking in leaves you spell bound, the anniversary card they had for us, signed by everyone working that shift was an amazing and unexpected touch that wasn't grand by any means but had a huge impact. Gary was amazing! I'm a manager in the industry, and I'd poach him if I could, lol! He was attentive but not so much that he disturbed our intimate dinner. He knew the menu guiding because we had no idea how to navigate it at first and made great recommendations. Everything was so delicious, the crazy thing is that we got their classic fondue, the one that's kept them a hot spot and in business for 60 years. However, after finishing it, I was left with a gnawing thought: 'If that is how good their classic is, how much better is the garlicky, thyme version!?' It didn't seem like it at first, but it was so much food. We barely made it to dessert. The cheese and entree courses were so delicious we couldn't stop eating until it hurt! Then the churros and rice Krispys and smores fixings and fruit with the velvety melted chocolate came, oh lord help us, it hurts so bad! We are so full!!!!!

Unbelievable experience from checking in the day before regarding any special occasions and allergies, to taking our coats upon arrival. Service was exceptional and the food was fresh. What an amazing experience. Count on $100 per person but well worth it.

What a lovely quaint spot to celebrate one’s anniversary, birthday, or just have a romantic dinner. A must try, I wish I would have known what specific vegetables come with each dinner, I would have opted out half of them. The smoke was a bit too much. I wish the circulation was better, where there was less smoke. But a lovely spot, that has been there MANY years.Vegetarian options: Yes there is a veggie option!

We have been to a few fondue restaurants but this one by far takes the cake! Best in Chicago hands down!! the food was amazing the ambience was superb and the customer service was some of the best I’ve experienced in a long time. We often leave still hungry at other fondue spots but this one is not stingy on their portions AT ALL! you will leave full and happy. I cannot wait until our next visit

My fiancé and I had dinner at Gejas Cafe during our anniversary trip to Chicago. They went out of their way to make us feel so special and celebrated. We had champagne and a staff signed happy anniversary card for us waiting for us at our table. The food was out of this world good! Rich, high quality, and provided an elevated fondue experience. To top it all off our waiter was very knowledgeable on the menu and personable. We had the best experience and will definitely be back next time we are in Chicago!

I had not been to Geja's for many years. It was as cute as I remember ! Went with 2 friend and spent the night talking and laughing. Music was great- we could hear each other. I'm planning to return and try the bar in the back!
