Gene’s is amazing butcher shop with rooftop deck where you can enjoy eateries no freshly prepared sausage from the below store. Only annoying thing - roof restaurant is all cash.
Anything less than 5 stars is crazy. Best grocery store in the city. Home made deli is cheap and high quality, meats are all grass fed and very well priced. Great beer and wine selection, and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. A true gem.
This is a fun deli but I want to express my grave displeasure with my meal at Apple Fest. For $12, I received two tiny, bland pancakes. Very much regret waiting through the long line to then wait still longer to receive something so disappointing when I could have spent that time and money at a dozen other vendors at the fest and gotten something far better.
