Ordered pizza for my family that came in from out of town for Thanksgiving and they loved it. This was my second time having it and it was still consistently good. Sausage and pepperoni taste fresh. Although the green peppers are canned, they still tasted good, You really couldn't tell the difference from the fresh ones. The pizza was pretty good. The only thing is that I ordered mushrooms and I’m pretty sure they are canned and not fresh. So I picked those off and the pepperoni and sausage I got on it were delicious!
My husband introduced me to this place when we were dating in 1990. We were both raised in Chicago. Since then, we have eaten pizza all over the county. But THERE IS NO PIZZA like GIGIOS. We now live in Oklahoma, but when we come up to Chicago, we always get sausage pizza. ITS TRULY THE BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD!
