The famous Chicago style pizza not worth it. Ambience, service all average.

We decided to try this location. We ordered one appetizer (calamari and more), one deep dish (meat and more meat), and one Chicago tavern style (chicken pesto). The deep dish has pepperoni, sausage, salami, and bacon. The Chicago tavern style has chicken, pesto, and tomatoes. The calamari and more appetizer was decent but I’m not sure it was worth $14. For the price, they could have given us more. The deep dish was pretty good if you like these kinds of pizzas. The crust was flaky and required little chew. The main part is very cheesy and they do not skimp on the meat. The Chicago tavern style was very crispy and that pesto sauce gives it a herby and garlicky taste. Pesto pairs well with the chicken and tomatoes. The service was average. I would have liked our server to be more attentive like fill our glasses of water without us saying anything. Overall, it’s a 4 out of 5 for me.

I went in yesterday with a friend, we were seated at a booth in the back. The place only had one dining area open. It was around 5:30p when we arrived. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order. When we were seated no one came. Then a party of 5 was seated in front of us and waited on all of 3 minutes before a server appeared with plates and water for their table. Since we were the only black people in the establishment I can't help but think it was racism and prejudice. We and my friend just walked out, never will return again.

Yum, hell yeah.
Ordered a pizza online for delivery at 610pm on Tuesday, 27 Aug 2024. The app said delivery estimated for 710pm. So, 730pm comes around with no delivery. I call the restaurant and was told that the online app and the real time are way off. The call taker said it'll be another 20 minutes. She said she'll give me $10 off my next order. I wait patiently and it is now 805 pm and no pizza. Finally, he arrives at 815 pm. The pizza was freezing. Asked for extra cheese and there was extra cheese on it but have you ever bitten into ice cold pizza with extra cheese? It was not good. I tried calling the Giordanos closer to me (63rd and Cicero) only to be told they no longer deliver only eat in or pick up. Which is why I ended up at the other location (53rd & Pulaski). I would have never placed the order had I known it would take 2 hours to get a pizza. By the way, it was a thin crust pizza. Not a stuffed!! The real kicker is that it cost me $50. For one pizza! Unbelievable!! It was totally inedible! If you think I was gonna call back to have a new pizza sent out, I'd have to be nuts!! Needless to say, I will be avoiding Giordano's from now on!

Worst experience ever, I ordered food for my kids for delivery and didn't get everything so I called and the manager Steve was very rude and actually said he looked at the cameras and my food was delivered. I asked him why would I lie about 8 wings when I ordered 60 dollars worth of food so he tells me I couldn't have talked to the c delivery man cause he doesn't speak English when clearly we had an English speaking conversation. Also Steve the manager also said I'm putting you on the do not deliver. He sounded very prejudice
I love the coffee and pizza at this place.

First time and last time..they are very lucky I didn't ask for my money back . The service was good but the pizza was disgusting in my opinion. It was thin, soggy, undercooked , I had bacon sausage and garlic . The sausage was raw still pink , the bacon was burnt sprinkled pieces on top sauce was extremely watery, no flavor but sweetness and showing by my plate I couldn't eat anything but the cheese..this was suppose to be a birthday celebration and I was highly disappointed. I will never return to that place again .so not worth the money I spent.. I hope no get sick off there raw food

On 4/18/2024, I meant to write this sooner but work has kept me busy. Here's what happened: I received my appetizer before my soda, and the service was painfully slow. Midway through my chicken parm with a side salad, I discovered a bug in my food after having already eaten an appetizer. Disgusted, I requested to speak with the manager, but they repeatedly sent the server instead. Only after insisting did the manager reluctantly offer to deduct $5 from the bill without addressing the issue. It wasn't a common fly; I was indoors and shocked by what I found. I took my family out to treat them, not for this experience. As a manager myself, I know listening to guests is crucial; I would have offered a replacement dish or removed it from the bill. I needed to share this to warn others: always inspect your food before eating—I'm grateful I did before consuming it.
