Very tasty food for a good price for Chicago. The owner/manager was very nice and the food came out hot and very fast.

Ordered takeout and everything was amazing!! Would highly recommend checking this place out, we tried a bit of everything. The seafood was fantastic and very fresh tasting, the beef was very flavorful and juicy, and the chicken was super crispy. Would love to go back to try the chili fusion shrimp and crab rangoon next time!

Not a family friendly location. They are working with a tight space, so any children will need to remain seated at all times. However, the manager asked us in a very rude manner to put away the paper and washable markers we pulled out to entertain our kids. I wouldn't bring children here again. The limited space also means that large groups will have to wait quite some time to be seated, so plan accordingly. Most of the food was good, but there weren't any items I thought were unique or special. Flavor relied too often on generous amounts of salt. For example, the salt and pepper fish was as advertised- each bite left salt grains on your lips. Overall, there are other restaurants in Chinatown I would prefer and recommend over this one.

The food is truly a foodie destination. I strongly recommend the French style beef and the bao... the curry crab was way too expensive for what it was. In fact, this is a bank, breaking type of place, but worth going if you just love, unique interesting and delicious food destinations.

This place was very very good. I would give it a 4.7 stars. But couldn't leave them with only a 4 star rating they deserved better. The food was phenomenal, my wife and I don't even like steak but the beef tenderloin was amazing. That seemed to be the trend of the evening all the food from the chili fusion fish to the garlic steamed shrimp was all so spectacular. I would probably pass on the crab ragoons. Even though they're apparently made from real crab, it didn't "wow" me. I was impressed by the fact that their egg fried rice as a side was only $2 and good enough for both of us. I LOVE the fact that they're BYOB so we went down the block and brought back a bottle of wine. They open it and give you cups free of charge. Did I mention they even have a tablet at the table for you to put your order in and send it straight to the kitchen. The restaurant was in a neighborhood which was a couple blocks away from actual china town so it was different. But I'm not complaining because it made parking way easier. However, the restaurant being so small definitely limits the amount of people allowed in at once.

Got there on Sunday at 5pm with my friend since small establishment with 5-6 tables. She ordered spicy kung pao chicken and I ordered the spicy mapo tofu. Both were very good and tasty flavors. My friend never tried the mapo tofu and surprisingly she liked it due to the spiciness and flavors.

I’m a Puerto Rican Latino man I walked in with my family 4 of us in total and immediately could feel a bad vibe she handed us the tablet to order instead of talking to us which she spoke perfect English…. We asked about the meals and how many people would the said dishes be enough to feed and she never gave us a clear answer then started to give my wife an attitude as we were walking out. So my wife being in the food service industry told her that she had an attitude and she said my wife had one so my wife told her no wonder there’s nobody in here and that she wasn’t gonna get any customers with an attitude like that!

The food was not the best but not the worse either. The crag Rangoon was over cooked and cooked in old oil. The shrimp rice was very limited with shrimp. The plates seem to be on the smaller sized. As I said not the worse but not worth going again.

The best Chinese food I've had. Definitely worth the visit. Everything I had was excellent. The service is great as well. They utilize an iPad for placing orders so the order goes straight to the kitchen. Overall a good

We have been to Go 4 Food for over 3 years now, always carry out so we decided to give it a try and eat in the restaurant. Service was ok. Not a lot of attention given to tables, it wasn't just us. We Order on the device on the table and food is brought out to us. We had french fried beef, fried rice, beef fun noodle which is my favorite, and orange chicken. The beef and it always spectacular, it always is very fresh and flavorful. My daughter loves the French beef and she said it was the best she's had so far since we've been coming here. The fried rice was a bit on the salty side. The sauce came right on the orange chicken so by the time we were halfway through the meal it was a bit soggy and not crisp. The broccoli was done well. Overall five stars for the food!

My Culinary Sanctuary in Chicago: Go 4 Food Walking into Go 4 Food is like returning to a place where everyone knows your name, especially for someone like me, a devoted patron who's witnessed the blossoming of this Chicago gem in the heart of Chinatown. The warmth of the ambiance is matched only by the welcoming smiles of the staff, making every visit here feel like a special occasion. At the helm is Wendy, the owner, whose incredible knack for blending authentic Chinese flavors with innovative culinary twists never ceases to impress. Her dedication not only to the cuisine but also to creating a memorable experience for every diner is what sets Go 4 Food apart. As someone who leans towards poultry and meat, I have a special place in my heart (and my stomach) for their chicken dishes. The Sautéed Chicken in Hot Spicy Sauce is my absolute go-to. This dish, so frequently requested by me, has affectionately been dubbed "Jessie's Chicken" by my friends. It's a vibrant mix of tender chicken pieces, vegetables, and just the right level of heat to keep you coming back for more - a true testament to Wendy's mastery in the kitchen. While seafood isn't my personal preference, my companions are always enchanted by the oceanic offerings on the menu. Their praises of the chili crab and other seafood delights speak volumes of Go 4 Food's ability to cater to diverse palates with finesse. Wendy's personal touch and her innovative spirit infuse every dish, every recommendation she makes, and every interaction within the restaurant. It's her vision that has turned dining at Go 4 Food into an experience that's as much about the community and connection as it is about the exquisite food. The staff's familiarity with the regulars, their ability to remember individual preferences, and their seamless service make each visit uniquely personal. It's this combination of extraordinary cuisine, heartfelt hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere that makes Go 4 Food a sanctuary for those who appreciate the art of Chinese cooking with a creative edge. Go 4 Food is not just a restaurant; it's a journey through the rich tapestry of Chinese culinary tradition, guided by one of Chicago's most innovative chefs. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular like me, you're in for a dining experience that will linger in your memory long after the meal is over.

Stumble into the Family Style Chinese Restaurant in Chinatown and it was amazing and authentic! Although it was small but very clean and comfortable! Spicy beef casserole was so delicious as well as the razor clams! It’s usually rare to find and usually high priced in Asia. Can’t wait to go back. BYOB is a plus ?

Our whole family stopped by the restaurant to celebrate the Lunar New Year together. We ordered many different dishes such as Yangchow fried rice, Salt and pepper pork, egg drop soup, French style beef tenderloin, orange chicken….. salt and pepper squid was too salty even though we ate with rice. Our favorite dishes were salt and pepper pork, egg tofu with salt and pepper, salt and pepper shrimp. These were crispy, fresh, and so delicious. We highly recommend these when you get a chance to stop by the restaurant. The restaurant is not really big, but warm and customer service is good.

Go 4 Food is an incredible place tucked just off the main street of chinatown. If you like authentic chinese with good seafood options this place is a must. I got the Kung pao shrimp, crab Rangoon, fishballs, and hot and sour soup while here and can't recommend them all enough. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.
