We recently attended an engagement party at Goldie’s. The party was originally scheduled as an outdoor event but was forced to go inside at the last minute. Goldie’s ownership allowed the party to use their location, opened early and provided bar service for all attendees. All with less than 24 hours notice! Claire, the bartender, came in early and was exceptional. Highly recommend for special events or to just stop in for a drink!

We came here for our friends’ engagement party. The staff were amazing and the space was the perfect fit for the engagement party. The drinks were great! We had the best time, and we will definitely return for nights out and will highly recommend Goldie’s for any future events.

Goldie’s is hands down my favorite bar in the area! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the space is super clean and well maintained, the drink selection is both solid and affordable, and they’re very dog friendly. They’ve got multiple TVs, a projector for big games, darts, and even a pool table!
We even had our engagement party at Goldie’s, and everyone who came couldn’t stop talking about how cool the space was and how amazing the bartender, Claire, was. The owner was also super accommodating and worked with us to make our party a huge success. Whether we’re catching a big game, grabbing a post-work drink, or meeting up with friends on the weekend, Goldie’s is always our first choice. Highly recommend!!!

Coming into this bar for the first time tonight. The bartender, Landon, was so welcoming and very attentive. I turned around for .05 seconds and he had another one ready to go for me! The service! Will definitely be coming back.

Closed again today. I hope it's not another loss of bartenders. The staff here is awesome but management/ownership seems to run them off frequently. Used to love singing with Matt and all the events he would host. I've been going to this bar for years, and even though my roommate and I have requested an easily accessible bottle we would pay to enjoy, management won't take requests. I've even bought paper towels at CVS on a busy Friday night because the bar staff can't get proper supplies without owners permission. Even with regulars, the owners don't allow a comp tab for thank you drinks or to help staff build regulars for themselves. I still visit to support the staff but ownership is making it hard to want to support them.
Update: The owner's reponse tells you exactly the type of person they are. If this is how you respond to criticism, can you imagine being an employee and asking for anything? Yikes. As a person who is 18+ years in the industry as a server and bartender, there is usually truth to gossip, especially when it come from previous staff. To reiterate, the staff is amazing and the only reason to even go in. Goldie owns the building with her husband Jerry who I am pretty sure responded. True class act! Thanks for the recommendation. 1 star it is!
Update again: Thanks for deleting and re-responding. We've all made a drunken text we would like to erase. I hope we can improve our experiences and I look forward to one day getting a comp drink. Thanks for always allowing my pup fresh water and please try to maintain our favorite bartenders.
