I really loved the taco flights! Good deal for 10 dollars. Above Birria, Cecina and pastor my favorite was Birria. Highly recommended. I also like they give totopos and salsa verde and roja.

Great food, fast service
The waitress was excellent. The food was good and satisfying. It was within walking distance of my hotel. It's adjacent to an excellent park.

This is a five star restaurant. All the food is delicious and the prices are so low. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The dining room is nicely decorated with pleasant Mexican music playing at an appropriate volume. Special mention to the Tampiqueña which is a skirt steak plate - this steak is better than some steak ive had for 3-4x the price at fancy Chicago steakhouses. Highly recommended.

Always love the nachos here for happy hour. They aren’t heavy, just delicious. The staff here are always very nice, such as Jason. He was so attentive. I’m always recommending this place to those that visit downtown.

If you are from out of town it’s a bit challenging to find the place but the food was definitely worth it. I got the taco flight which were 3 decent sized tacos of your choice for $10. They were all delicious. Unfortunately our service wasn’t great as our server disappeared on us for a bit and we even thought maybe they had left. Another server had checked on us and got us the additional items we needed, refilled our waters etc.

This spot is definitely a hidden gem in the Lakeshore East area downtown Chicago. Unless you go into the little section that it’s located at, you will probably never know it’s there, however, it is by other popular restaurants.
Sad to say there are not a lot of authentically good Mexican options in the downtown area of Chicago. There are a couple that are absolutely terrible, but I won’t even go into mentioning them lol so I can honestly say that this spot is a top Mexican restaurant option in the downtown area.
Everything that I had was good from them, starting from the margaritas to the appetizers. The quesadilla that they make comes made with four different cheeses and which ever four they chose are amazing together! Both of the entrées that we had were good. I tried the flautas and my niece had the was quesabirria and outside of the fact that they both had great flavor, there was so much food on the plate. Definitely worth the price!
Gotta say that this place surprise me and they definitely have a repeat customer.

Pretty solid Mexican food in a beautiful location by the Lakeshore East Park. The burritos are very filling. The traditional margarita on rocks was very nice.
