I think this place has been pick-up only every time I've gone there but I love the food so I keep coming back! Easy to order online & grab fast.

I’ve held off on this for longer than I should have because I’ve had plenty of perfectly lovely experiences ordering from Gorilla Sushi over the past several years, but the past year or so my orders have been just ‘okay’ but delivered an hour later than the estimated delivery time of 60-70 minutes after ordering, so the cold items are warm and the hot items are cold. If you’re ordering pick-up, maybe they are actually capable of providing the food in a timely manner, I don’t know…but do NOT order delivery unless you’re willing to wait 2 hours for warm sushi and cold gyoza. Such a disappointment, this place used to be one of my favorite to order from. But now I’m done with them. I’ll pay a bit more for a restaurant that can actually give me good food in a timely manner at the appropriate temperature.

A very nice small sushi bar. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, we got edamame, gyoza, and cucumber salad, and the unagi q roll, sweet potato roll, spicy tuna roll, and the cub roll (shrimp tempora, deep fried bell peppers, avocado, and spicy mayo). All of the food was absolutely delicious, the service was quick and for dessert we had the brown sugar Boba ice cream bar and it was fun.

The food is fine- the quality is what you'd expect for $4.99 sushi. I'm writing more so as someone that's had uncomfortable experiences here as a woman of color. Since this is the closest sushi place to me I've been here several times and every time the woman/man couple or whoever they are that bring you the orders are cold/hostile. At first I brushed it off as them just being busy but I've noticed how much warmer they are with other customers. I ignored the few times they've confused me for an Uber eats driver. One time they chided me for being "too early" to pick up my order so today I arrived 15 mins after the pickup time. I tell them my name and nothing- they don't let me know if my order will take longer or if there's any issues. I wait on the side for another 15 mins and when they finally hand me my order there's no acknowledgment of it being 30 mins late or not even correct as I discovered when I got home. However the whole time they're perfectly pleasant, thanking and exchanging pleasantries with other patrons. After today dont think I'll be returning to pay for incorrect, late orders with a side of prejudice.

Ordered delivery through uber eats on 12/27/24. Honestly it tasted great but something was clearly off since my partner and I both good food poisoning 😣
EXCLUSIVELY PICK UP but they don’t say that ANYWHERE

This is the first time ordering at this location and I was more than disappointed …. The fried shrimp was cold and the box was broken it seems liked they microwaved it … the spider rolls had expired seafood and had a bad taste to it I just spit it out and the Thai tea was garbage I didn’t even drink it all plus my girlfriends stomach started cramping up after we ate the food ….. I order the same thing at different location at the same price and never have I ate something this bad I recommend going to another location if you want sushi because this one ain’t it…. I only ate it because I was hungry but I didn’t even enjoy it

Fresh sushi
Fresh sushi
The portion was teeny tiny, they were able to comfortably place 4 rolls into one tiny container, that’s how small they are. It was supposed to be meals for 2, we wouldn’t even get full for 1…The presentation was pretty much the only positive thing out of this experience. The sushi rice was hard, possibly reused from the night before, or being in the fridge for a while. Ginger has a weird taste to it. To be honest, we ended up eating what we can find at home and throw away the whole thing for food hygiene, health and safety concerns.
