Absolutely love this bar!
An amazing mix of LGBTQ and allies just having a good time. Highly recommended, love having a few drinks then exploring the amazing ways around the area.

Max's Place is a great neighborhood bar with great drink specials that change each month. It has a nice outdoor space and serves delicious homemade empanadas. The bar has a friendly vibe, a diverse group of people, and is a good hangout spot for a cold beer. The staff makes everyone feel welcome, and the bartender Vic is especially attentive and plays the best music. Although Max's Place doesn't serve food, they sell chips and Chips Ahoy! for $1, making it a fun place to relax. The outdoor patio is a cozy spot to enjoy warmer days, and the place is perfect for those looking to enjoy drinks and good company in the Uptown area.
