Bad vibes all around. Service was straight-up weak — slow, careless, like nobody cared at all. On top of that, the parking lot is a mess. Folks acting like parking pirates, taking up spots they shouldn’t, blocking cars, zero respect in McDonald's area. Management needs to step up, handle the staff, and fix the parking situation ASAP. Not a good look.

After spending some time in downtown Chicago near the Navy Pier and being disappointed by our severely overpriced breakfast, my partner and I decided to try to find a hole-in-the-wall sushi place along the blue line as we made our way to the airport. We ended up at Gorilla Sushi around 6pm on a Sunday evening, since it was an easy walk from the station.
There were customers, but it wasn't packed (got the feeling that they do a lot of to-go orders, since the inside had very little seating). We were seated and ordered our food within five minutes. The food same out in a steady stream, obviously being brought to us as soon as it was ready. The food was very cheap but was also pretty good for the price. We got multiple rolls and appetizers, and after tip, it was about $60 for two people.
Definitely recommend it for a quick bite of sushi that won't break the bank.
