Terrible bagel. Cold, hard and plain. Dunkin’ has a better breakfast sandwich. Go to Tilly Bagels for a great breakfast.

The bagels are amazing. You can definitely tell that they are handcrafted. I had the multigrain bagel, bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and a peach coffee. That was great. What a great summer flavor. The staff here is excellent. It’s an easy location right across from the northwestern parking garage the only issue is there’s not a lot of seating on the inside so make sure you try to get there early so you can catch a seat
This was my 1st time patronizing Gotham Bagels on Dearborn Street, Chicago. The bagels are fresh and substantial with a nice crunch to them.
I also ordered a 1/2 pound container of “traditional” tuna salad which brings me to the reason for only giving a few stars. When I picked up the order, I asked the cashier if he could tell me when the tuna was made. He looked on the container which did not show the production date or expiration date. He then went to the kitchen to inquire about the date returning a few minutes later saying they think it was made sometime on the weekend which was not too reassuring.
When I got home, I tried a spoonful of tuna which had a strange taste and did not taste like traditional tuna should. I threw the tuna out wasting $9. Btw, the bagels were delicious. My recommendation is Gotham should put the date of production on the tuna container and for those who like the taste of traditional tuna fish, don’t buy this product from Gotham as you will be disappointed.

First time here. Ordered 2 bagels at the counter, proceeded to wait 20 minutes for 2 toasted bagels with cream cheese, probably would have been an additional 20 minutes of waiting if i hadnt cancelled our order. Nobody told us about the wait when we ordered, so I ended up canceling it and the person at the counter didnt even offer an apology or anything. Will never be back.

Decided to “work from home” at Gotham while I waited for my car to be serviced down the street. I ordered breakfast and lunch while working. The atmosphere was beautiful and perfect for working. Service was also amazing. I ordered in person and sat inside. I ordered the OMFG and a bagel with cream cheese. The sandwich had more fried than chicken, but wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t order it again. The cream cheese also left something to be desired. The bagels…chefs kiss! If I didn’t have to walk to pick up my car, I’d have left with a dozen! The bagels alone are worth coming back over and over again. Gotham is pricey, but I think that’s to be expected in the area.

So I've come to expect a lot from gotham because they're usually great, but just today my two orders of pastrami both came with no mustard, and the meat seemed old and had a pretty off smell. And my over hard fried egg bagel sandwhich, wasn't over hard and leaked yolk all over everything. Kind of a sad performance. I know you guys can do better because I've easily had better from you.

Got their Brighton Beach sandwhich on a salt bagel, fantastic. A bit pricy, but hit the spot and came with a slightly spicy perfectly crisp pickle on the side.
