Best bagel I have had in a long time! Cream cheese was whipped and the perfect amount added. Our bagels were prepared exactly as we asked. Space is small, but atmosphere is great. Will definitely be back..
I would easily consider bagels to be one of my favorite foods, and going to grab an iced latte and a fun bagel flavor is one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday morning - so when I heard that the Gotham Bagels South Loop location was open, I knew I had to check it out!
Gotham Bagels has been on my list for a LONG time, and it definitely did not disappoint! We tried a couple of their specialty sandwiches along with a classic sweet bagel to round it all out!
My absolute FAVORITE...
Pretty mid bagels, especially by “Gotham” standards.
The bagels are small and thin and cream cheese is always spread unevenly.
Everything bagel is mostly sesame.
Extremely expensive for what it is.
Service is slow at best, disinterested and vacant at worst.
Yet I keep coming back because it’s better than all the other trash around here
