The Original Rainbow Cone Reviews
The new Murfreesboro location on Corlew Ave. is sub par. We came at 12:20 and they were out of waffle cones and didn't have everything the full menu offered even though the full menu is displayed. When I spoke to the general manager of Buona, he was rude and condescending. I do not recommend this location of Rainbow Cone!
Best ice cream ever!!!! I am an ice cream snob when I’m on vacation. I have to have it every day and I walked miles to that ice cream parlor this week the owner and the boy Jake that worked there was such awesome people too. I will definitely be back. I went tonight because I’m leaving in the morning sorted caramel chunk.!!!! you will not be disappointed
I was at the Orland Park Original Rainbow Cone location today. I grew up going to the location on Western Ave. The ice cream at this location (Orland) is just as delicious as I remember from my childhood.
Also, I dropped the ice cream off of my cone only a few bites in. One of the staff members (possibly the manager) noticed immediately, helped clean up, and provided another ice cream cone for me free of charge. The staff was kind and helpful and the facility was very...read full review

The Original Rainbow Cone is a popular spot known for its layers of sweet and flavorful ice cream, including Orange Sherbet, Pistachio, Palmer House, Strawberry, and Chocolate served in a cake cone. The ice cream is creamy and delicious, with options like cookies and cream and NY Vanilla that taste like French vanilla. The signature cone is a nice mix, and the flavors taste great together. The cone is massive, and the idea of slicing the ice-cream instead of scooping is liked. It’s a beautiful and fun relic very much worth visiting. Go for the fun and enjoy decent ice cream. The ice cream isn't made in house and isn't super flavorful, but is still good. Flavors are nice, it’s nothing fancy but it’s plenty sweet. The portions are generous whether you get it in a cone or a cup. This location is a to-go kiosk only. There’s no seating. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, especially those who are attentive and knowledgeable about the flavors and nut-free options. Quick service and helpful tips add to the positive experience. Overall, it’s a place recommended for a delightful treat and enjoyable visit. They also offer a discount on Tuesdays.
