Lovely place, excellent meals! Seems to be recently rebranded to "The New Grace Restaurant". Besides the really great customer service, the food is excellent. If you're a lover of authentic Ghanaian dishes, you should definitely make time to check this place out!For our first time here, we tried 'banku and tilapia' and 'banku with okro stew' ??... Definitely coming back to try the rest! Highly recommended.
Authentic African (Ghanaian) cuisine with decent menu variety and small dine-in space. Soup dishes tend to be on the spicy side. Limited street parking. You’ll be lucky to get someone on the phone but if you’re on-site you’re be please with the food!
I love the authentic culture it brings to Chicago, both in the food and atmosphere upon entrance to the restaurant. This is truly an amazing place to dine and have great conversation/ dialogue regarding various topics around the world. Customer service is fabulous. Just remember some food consist of being spicy, however ask and maybe the cook can fix you a special non-spicy dish. I enjoyed this place for years, just go visit and see the beauty in the food, music and decorations...
