I came to Gretel in Chicago with a few friends and had such a great experience! The atmosphere was lively but still cozy — the kind of spot that feels perfect for catching up over good food and drinks. I ordered the Monarch cocktail and the signature Gretel Griddle Burger, and both were amazing. The Monarch was perfectly balanced — refreshing, smooth, and beautifully made. Gretel was such a stylish and hip spot with great music playing the whole time. We ordered the Gretel Griddle Burger, the spaghetti with red sauce, and the mac & cheese — which was my absolute favorite! Anthony, our server, was kind, professional, and represented the restaurant perfectly. Will definitely be coming back!

One of the best food spots in Chicago. Love the dip. Tried the French onion soup, incredible. Known for the burger, but everything is awesome. Cocktails are legendary. Hipster vibes and awful leg tattoos are abundant. Think of Austin,TX if it didnt have a dad.
