Hit up Halal Pita Grill in Lincoln Park—grabbed the chicken biryani and a Malai Boti skewer, plus a mango lassi, totalling about $20. Biryani was legit flavorful and the lassi hit the sweet spot, but the skewer was a bit dry. Chill, casual spot—with friendly staff and fresh vibes, but seating’s tight. Solid grab‑and‑go halal option.

Hit up Halal Pita Grill over on Halsted the other night, and man, it hit the spot. Grabbed the Chicken Paratha Roll —juicy marinated chicken fresh off the tandoor, all wrapped up in a warm paratha with just the right kick. Couldn't resist pairing it with their Butter Chicken; that creamy curry was on point. Rounded things out with some Naan to scoop up all that goodness. The vibe's chill, the portions are generous, and you ain't walking out hungry. If you're craving some legit halal eats in Chi-Town, this spot's worth a visit.

My wife and I had a great experience! The owner was very kind and gave us pakoras and fruit chaat for free. Couldn’t have been more welcoming. A+ hospitality.

They don't update their hours on google maps. Took two trains to make all the way to this restaurant to find out they are closed! So disappointing

All 3 categories should be negative..this place has rodents and its filthy. The food being advertised is never cooked. The food trays have filthyand the utensils are not so hygienic. No such thing as air-conditioning I went to use the bath room where the light was hanging on the door waiting to electrocute someone... I did some digging and found out the 5 star reviews on the website are by family or friends....I highly recommend to stay away from that place unless u want to test ur gut.

Delivery was super delayed. Food was subpar! Chicken was a quality of my Birkenstocks soles! Sad!

Visit often and eat whatever is being cooked. The place is clean, the food is like amazing home cooked meals, the owner is genuinely caring and customer service oriented. If you were ever unhappy, he would make it right. I know that much, but I've never been disappointed. Enjoy!
