Just came to get lunch Halsted Street deli at Lake and Lasalle. First time here and I wasn't sure where I was going so I took a chance and went straight. And I found it! Nestled across from two other restaurants. I got the southwest wrap with everything and boy it's delicious! There is plenty of seating by the place, so I'm sure it's more fuller when more people are in the offices during the week. Service was quick as I came and got it in a few minutes prior to coming. I'll be adding this place to my rotation for sure!

Very mediocre, very overpriced. Their $13 “large” is much smaller than a standard foot long. Subway tastes about the same but is much bigger and half the price.

This was my first time at Halsted Street Deli and it was my last. I feel like they brought this from their house and are passing it off as deli food. 1. I ordered my food ahead of time. I got there it wasn't ready.2. On my receipt you can see I asked for no tomato. I received tomato.3. On my receipt you can see I ordered Sobe for my drink. They didn't have any when I arrived.I'm still trying to figure out the use of shredded cheese on a tuna sandwich. The soup was horrible. The noodles were very overcooked. They were pasty, I couldn't eat the soup. I took the tomato off and did what I could with the sandwich. I drank my sprite that I didn't request. I was surprised to get 1/2 sandwich, small soup and drink for under $9 in downtown Chicago. Now I see why. You can't access HSD from LaSalle nor from Lake St. You have to walk inside of the building and it's a kiosk. There's a nice amount of indoor seating.

What a disappointment for a sandwich shop! I ordered on grubhub and now I understand why their "review ratings " were turned off, all the bad ratings. I order 3 Sandwichs all of them were wrong! Ordered a gaint on one got a mini, no bacon please for the second, them: "extra bacon", for the 3rd, add mayo and mustard, them: "just throw packets of mustard and mayo in the bag, who does he think we are a sandwich shop!"So in conclusion, don't trust a restaurant with their reviews turned off and I will not be voiced! ?
Anyone who likes these sandwiches, lacks taste buds, my sandwich had no taste except the bread which was tasty. There is only one worker and the service just isn't up to par, I would recommend subway over this place just to give you an idea of how tasteless the everything but the bread was, I literally couldn't even tell what meat I was eating.

Pretty good, similar to Jimmy Johns in price and style but with more variety. When the menu says piled high with meat it's highly inaccurate though.
