I’ve been coming here for a decade. They have this new bartender now also a first in like a decade, and the energy and environment and clientele is so felt by this new guy. My favorite bar in the city again
Neighborhood bar. German beer. No food unless you're bringing it(and sharing, if you're trying to win anyone over!). Drink here and let the bartender recommend you a shot 👍
This place is truly the beating heart of Lincoln Square and earnest and wonderful and healthy community. May this place and those who call it home remain in good health and fortune for a thousand years, because this place represents something that is at risk of being lost in the neighborhood -- lest we guard against it by supporting each other and the businesses and people who take this to heart, in turn.
