I haven't had Harold's Chicken in about three years. I went to the location on Broadway on the north side. I wanted bbq today but my place was closed. Since I drove out from Aurora, I decided to come to this location as my Plan B. So glad I did. The wait for my food was well worth it. It was delicious just as i remembered. I came during lunch so it was quite busy. Next time I'll come a little later and possibly on a weekend. Thank you!!

That new cook is the bomb. Wings was fire 🔥🔥🔥

The chicken wings and the gizzard were cooked nicely, but their mild sauce tastes different, too vinegary.

Great chicken

On 2/19 I ordered 6 wings ,perch and drink. I didn't get my drink and I recieved old precooked wing. I called 5 times with no answer. Posted on the website. When I got off work , stood in long line to return, there was no apologies. You can wait we will replace what wasn't eaten. Where is the customer service .Do better !

you better go pick up your own food because they’ll give your food to anybody and the people that’s picking it up. Will say they picked it up and it’ll cancel it and they’ll eat your food.

Wish i could put 0 stars ordered last night while at work on 1/3/25 2pc fish + 2 wing combo and got my first case of food poisoning never again

Terrible. My meal was horrible. Fish was yesterday refried old fish from day before. Greasy and tasteless. Had to throw away because I didn't want to get sick. Called Harold's but they didn't answer the phone. Never experienced before

A friend of mine goes crazy over this chicken and some Frank's Red Hot sauce lol. If you're a Chicago native, you know. I've already had the best restaurant fried chicken anyone could ever eat, and this is probably down #15 spot. I had wings and fries with hot sauce (6.3/10)

I grew up on Harold's in Hyde Park. I haven't been in some time but enjoyed my chicken. It was fried perfectly. It comes with bread and a small cole slaw. Just right for a filling pick me up meal. It's still one of my favorite Harold's.

Great tasting chicken but, damn do the employees have to pay for sauce out of pocket? This chicken is way too dry for the price!! Also, if you ask for more sauce they force you to buy extra in a cup which is not the same and defeats the purpose of adding sauce while the food is hot! I’m giving a 1 star because, this is not how original Harold’s is served!

Parking: Plenty parking outside of Rush hour.. during the hours of 3p to 6p don’t even go! You’ll be wasting 10mins looking for parking!
