Cedars Palestine Kitchen Reviews
I visited Cedars with my husband today and we cannot properly convey how much we loved it! The staff was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and the one detail that struck me the most was their treatment of everyone-open and caring.
The food was epic; perfectly balanced seasoning, bright flavors, richness without heaviness, lovely fusion dishes and the absolute BEST crispy falafel I have had in my life.

Based on reviews, Cedars Palestine Kitchen is a modest but friendly Palestinian restaurant near the University of Chicago. The food is incredible and amazing, with excellent chicken shawarma, a shawarma wrap that is perfectly balanced, and a falafel wrap that is tasty. The wings and garlic sauce are perfect and top tier. The tacos are great with good flavor profile, and the shepherd’s salad is very tasty and well dressed. The humble lentil soup is loved, and the seasoned fries are crispy and do not require any other condiment. The lemonades are good and not too sweet. Portion sizes are big, and it is really affordable. The service is nice, and the workers are very friendly. The restaurant has a chill vibe, and the music was at a good volume. Some feedback includes a wish for a bit more spice and more options on the menu, but overall, this spot gets the job done and provides an authentic Mediterranean meal.
