The food was mediocre and not really worth the high price tag. But it was convenient for our plans.
Food was ok. I got the fish and chips. It was difficult to eat the fish due to the strong presence of vinegar in the batter. They should put the vinegar on the side like every other restaurant. Also, my mom had to send her burger back twice because they kept missing toppings that actually came on the burger according to the menu. Very loud restaurant. Inattentive server which I believe is a Chicago thing (we were tourists). Don't get the brownie sundae. It was horrible, especially after having the Ben and Jerry's brownie sundae all week lol. This brownie was spongy and severely flavorless.
I have been there twice in the last four months. Both times I've ordered a salad without the cheese. Both times I had to return it because they put on the cheese. My friend, though, enjoyed her hamburger.
The menu completely changed since the last time we visited, no more chicken vesuvio, grilled cheese, fried cheese bites, etc. Food quality (fried chicken at Wendy's is 10x better, meatball was hard and dry, got 6 small chicken bites in an order) was terrible, manager was pretty blunt with a table by us (and loud), only thing ok was the cheese bread and our waiter. Used to be our go to when visiting but we won't be going back.
So yummy I came!!! I can't believe I have to write 50 words for this review ! I simply dont think u could narrow it down to that
Visiting the area and for the sake of time - ended up reserving here. I initially got the fish and chips, which was a fail. My partner has a gluten intolerance and opted for a GF burger that came out medium well. Just really not impressed with the offerings nor even the second set of food the waiter suggested, which was appetizer fake, processed chicken nuggets. Don't waste your time if you can help it!
I was about 15 minutes ahead of the rest of my party and we were still seated. The dining area wasn't very busy, so perhaps this is why, and it seems rare these days that a place will seat you without the entire party being present, so I appreciated this. While making the reservation, I was asked if any special occasion was being celebrated. I answered yes to my graduation for my master's degree and my mother's 78th birthday. However, this was never acknowledged. I just don't understand the point of asking this question, if nothing is going to come of it. The food was very good and as with everywhere in Chicago, overpriced, so I wouldn't say the value and taste were aligned, but there seems to be no way to escape price gouging. The hostess and waitress were both very friendly. The atmosphere was good and I enjoyed going through the mini museum. Overall, I'd give this place a 7 out of 10.
First time at At Harry Carays Tavern. Very good burgers all around! Our server Mike was awesome. Food was maybe a little pricey but I guess it's ok for Navy Pier. Overall great experience!
My wife and I enjoyed our meals at Harry Caray's at Navy Pier. I had the Rigatoni ala Vodka with Mascarpone and it was delicious, probably the best vodka sauce I ever had. I added chicken which was very tender. My wife had the "108" burger and it looked fantastic and I tried a few of the fries and they were excellent. There is a lot of cool sports and entertainment memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Also, our hostess informed us a soon as we came in that we could get a discount if we were coming from the Chicago Shakespeare Theater which we were and the friendly waiter gave us what I think was a generous 20% off! All in all, a great experience.
Hosted was awesome ( I wish I remembered her name, she was petite glasses and black hair ) when we got to the pier she wave hi ! And make us decided it eat there, made a reservation. But when we got there there were a lot of customers she was by herself trying to accommodate everyone, very polite she said to give her a few minutes she will seat us next, then another two persons try to help her a lady and they mess everything up. Finally we sat down server was nice, we order burger they were ok

Food was good other than the chicken on our Caesar salad was too dry to even eat. Our server, Ryan, was awesome!
The food is great, but I wished they offered more options. They need to offer a variety of different options. Otherwise the food is great.
It is a great place located in River North. Nice staff. Free potatoe chips at the bar.

my boyfriend and i ate here before and we liked it enough to come back, but were disappointed and disgusted when we found someone else’s lip/lipstick stain on the glasses we had. unfortunately we only realized it after having drank them. will not be coming here again unfortunately. i want to include pictures but im unsure how to include them since there’s no available option for them.
