The fried shrimp appetizer we got was great and the drinks were great too. 12 oz ribeye, Mac & cheese, and hash browns were just ok. There are several better options for a steak in my opinion.
Greeters looked like slobs. Had zero personality and were not at all warm and inviting. Got sat at the bar until our table was read. Had an overpriced drink from a female bartender who told me how would she know how it would taste she doesn't drink dairy. Our waiter was great. He was friendly helpful and made up for the beginning of the night. Food was good but nothing that made me feel like I had to rush to get back.
We first went to Hawksmoor last month for Sunday Roast and absolutely loved it. We returned this week for drinks and the bar food menu. The bar was almost full so we were offered a table in the dining room. We were very happy that they accommodated our request to order off of the bar menu in the dining area. We had the Filet Steak Sliders and Scotch Egg with martinis and then we had a sausage roll and red wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our “meal” of shared bar bites. We are looking...
