Heaven on Seven is as close to "New Orleans Cajun" as you'll find in Chicago. An atmospheric little diner with a lunch line that runs all the way down the hall, the food is delicious. I absolutely love visiting NOLA for Cajun food but Chicago never had a credible comparison. Hon7 is on Jewelers' Row, on the seventh floor of a nondescript office building, but those "in the know" are lining up at 11:30 to get a table in the small place.
We were greeted at the door promptly seated quickly asked if we wanted anything to drink which was brought to the table immediately the server brought us menus and explained the menu choices.

Can anyone pls update the website that the restaurant is closed ??!? I had to walk around 30Mins to stop by to a restaurant closed for more than 6 months. Don’t come to this restaurant. THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED!!!!
