Damn, this was a good dinner. We did the family dinner for two. There was enough food for twice that, if not more. All of it exceptional. There were probably 12 or 13 courses. Ethan is very charming, the atmosphere is welcoming, and we feel like we were taken care of beginning to end. Highly recommend.

Went for a short version of the tasting menu, though they gave us lots of extras. Great ingredients, creative dishes, nice combination of restraint and spicy treats, excellent technique. A wonderful meal.

Amazing experience. Went for the Family Meal, 11 course dinner with BYOB. It began with individuals dishes and progressed into a family sharing style plates. Every dish was really good. The meal had range with delicate seafood to start leading to heartier dishes towards the end. Lots of interesting sauces throughout the meal highlighting Cambodian flavors. We brought a sparkling and a Riesling, and got advice on which dishes to pair with each through out the meal which was nice touch. Highly recommend!!

The Cambodian fried chicken sandwich was amazing! Juicy chicken, great flavors and textures. Looking forward to trying the coursed dinner.

Tried the Cambodian fried chicken sandwich and the pickled eggplants and these are truly wonderful interpretations of Khmer/Khmer American flavors. Easily the most memorable part of the quick trip to Chicago.

Ethan and his staff are the true embodiment of craftsmanship and hospitality. I've been lucky enough to try Hermosa when the menu was burgers and fries, and now I've delightfully enjoyed the Cambodian sandwich (and fries!).
I truly believe that Hermosa is a cornerstone establishment to the Hermosa community and that many people should come and enjoy the delicious food Ethan and his team have shared with us.
Spent over an hour on public transit to get to Hermosa for lunch. After arriving I was told that food orders can only be placed online for pickup and that it must be done at least one day in advance. Their website does not mention this policy anywhere and should be added so customers know.
