Brought two coffees. Now admittedly I’m from Melbourne and have high expectations - however since being in Chicago have experienced som great coffee. This joint ain’t one of them. Luke warm, weak and despite charging premium price the cup was two thirds full maximum. Steer well clear.
I got a Chai and it was heavily watered down and barely any chai flavor unfortunately. But the staff were really kind and would love to give it another it chance!

This place is amazing! It’s our first time visiting Chicago and Hero…and they did not disappoint! I chose the Smooth Criminal, with the jalapeño cheddar bagel and my wife chose the Reservoir Hog, with the cheddar herb bagel - both were PHENOMENAL! As for our coffee, we both chose lattes…one with Teddy Graham syrup and the other SF vanilla - again, PHENOMENAL! If you’re looking for a great atmosphere, great service and great food…this is the place to choose!

A fun vibe and very friendly staff. Good prices. Bagels were slightly stale and kind of lack luster but it could've been an off day as the line was out the door. I would definitely come back to try again because of the super nice staff and other enticing menu items.

This place has some underrated breakfast bagel sandwiches!! Easily rated on my list of top 5 coffee/ breakfast bagel spots in all of Chicago. No frills, with always friendly counter service. Bring back the west loop location!!!!
