Food was tasty but portions were small for the price. We spent over $300 for 3 people and left slightly hungry.
Ambiance and service was great.

I was excited to try Hiro. Food was bad. I got sick. Dining room was uncomfortable. Staff was kind.
The dining room is nicely lit, good music, huge bar. However is not very comfortable. It was freezing in the restaurant & the furniture was eh. For a lounge type feel it has, it was impossible to relax and lounge in the seating they picked out.
The food was not good. Shishito peppers were complete mush. The tartare was also mushy and smelled of fish going bad. The crispy rice tuna bites were also mushy: rice under cooked, not crispy and the tuna topping was so cold/almost frozen, dish felt not finished. The handrolls were also gross and the fillings were so cold to the point it was too cold/frozen to eat.
The folks at the restaurant were nice and made accommodations to us for the food we sent back.
Bummed, wanted this to be my new spot.

Had a great time here. The food and ambiance was amazing . All the staff from host to server was friendly and knowledgeable. My friends and I loved almost everything from here and will definitely be coming back. The only problem is how warm it is inside like abnormally warm. 🥵

Very overpriced. Bill for 5 people was $450 before tip and I left hungry
Phenomenal. Had a slight bit of anxiety walking in as I am a mom from the burbs and thought I was nowhere near cool enough to be here, however, the staff was so incredibly friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. We sat at the bar and my friend ordered a signature cocktail which she loved. I ordered a margarita, off the menu but particular, which the bartender made perfectly. We ordered the gyoza which was absolutely amazing, the veg tempura which was also great, the hamachi carpaccio which was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, the Brussels which were so fresh yet a burst of flavor and the short rib noodles which really sealed the deal. We were able to meet the executive chef, Luis, who gave us a tour and chatted about his experience and unique nuances (such as the authentic robata grill) of the restaurant which was really interesting. We were also able to talk with the restaurant manager, Alex, who was really friendly and welcoming. Great vibe, fantastic group making it all work and out of this world flavors food. 100% recommend.

Was so excited to try this place, and it did not disappoint! Everything was portioned to share and absolutely delicious. Don’t skip out on drinks or dessert either! Service was great— making for an even better experience. Can’t wait to return

This place is seriously bad ass. The service was fantastic. The plating was picturesque. The flavor was phenomenal. Executive chef Luis and GM Alex both made it around to our table to check on us. If you haven’t booked a reservation yet, you’re missing out.

Looks can be deceptive! From outside what looks like a shady spot, changes completely when you enter the restaurant. Hip and funk interiors with house music in the background. Everything from the food to service was amazing.
We ordered a bunch of small plates, some of our favourites being the robata beef and chicken.
Also a must try in shrimp tempura and of-course the hamachi which reeks of truffle and the Torro hand roll
Definitely get the cocktails, we got gold &black sake and espresso martini which again is unique with the sweet potato adding the extra kick.
Lastly must try on Tres leche! An amazing blend of flavours with black sesame and hibiki whiskey.
Special shoutout to our server Doug for his extreme knowledge and passion towards the Japanese food which showed in the experience we received.

Ordered the burger and fries and thought it was very average.
Quality of the beef wasn’t that good.
Fries were boring and lacked flavor.

Came here for the toki tres leches and it did not disappoint! The black sesame tahini cajeta was incredible and I wish they sold bottles of it but also glad they don’t because I’d go broke stocking up.
The short rib noodle was another stand out and left us speechless.
If there’s anything we regret it’s getting the chicken katsu, it’s good don’t get me wrong but next to the rest of the menu even a panko-crusted chicken can’t compete and that says a lot!
