I'm reviewing the Traspasada on Ashland and had such a fabulous experience, I can't wait to go to the other one! The joint is....well, jointy. It's VERY small and no frills but the tables were still a comfy distance apart. The service could not have been more attentive. This is a BYOB, but alas, we didn't know that. This is a hidden gem! I am at a loss of words. All I can say is come and see for yourself. Torta - Pastor PHENOMENAL Torta - Asada AMAZING Birria Soup AMAZZZINGG Pozole Rojo Soup - INSANE FLAVOR Burrito perfectly made, it does not fall apart, just awesome. BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN ENTIRE AMERICA.

Did a quick pick up order this weekend as this place is a neighborhood joint for me. I noticed last time that the burrito was a bit bitter and so this time I got it without onions and it was much much better. Actually, the nachos were probably the best. Shortly growing on me. I think it's a gem in Westown.
