If your Time Machine is broken and you need to get back to 1985 to save Doc from the Iranian terrorists....I mean he did sell them fake plutonium so he kinda deserved it ....anyway....you don't need a Time Machine just a visit to The Home Tavern. It's perpetually 1985 in there. Maybe even 1980. Accordingly it is the antidote to $9 beers and fake people. I mean it's easy to point out what it lacks. Good spot to chill with friends, service and drinks are good. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because you sometimes find some strange people. I had a guy from Switzerland pressuring me to try his tobacco. Until my friend hid it from him and we left.

Went here in the AM while we waited for a brunch reservation. Technically they weren't open but doors were still open, had some guys closing the books from last night who welcomed us and poured us drinks while we passed the time. Great conversation and delivered the best dive bar experience that we were looking for. Will always come back
