Place was amazing in the past. My family ate there on a Saturday night and pizza came out lukewarm. Lukewarm means your second slice is cold. Wasn’t happy so I let the waitress know (they also forgot our side of ranch for kids ;-)). They brought us some gross dessert to make up for it (see pic). Very disappointed.

I had been looking forward to trying the pizza from here for quite some time. Sadly, the pepperoni pizza I picked up from here was just okay, at best. What's worse is that the prices here are noticeably higher than what other places charge for bigger, better tasting pizzas. Can't see myself ever coming back here.

This place was bustling on a Saturday evening! Always a good sign for a pizza spot on the weekend. The decor was cute. They have Christmas lights hung from the ceiling, and it creates a nice mood. I had a reservation for 2 and my friend was running late but they seated me anyway.

I appreciated that they had seasonal cocktails. However, none of them had tequila as the alcohol choice, bummer. I was told that it could be substituted in, so that's what I did. There was definitely an upcharge to substitute. Also, our waiter was under 21 so she didn't know a few things when asked about drinks. She offered to have someone come over.

The Mercenary pizza was so good. I didn't know what to expect, but it exceeded the expectations. The drink was ok. Not the best and not the worst.

All in all a pleasant experience. My biggest complaint was the closeness of the tables. Geesh! That wouldn't stop me from going again l, though. The pizza is worth the trip.

Wow! When in Chicago come visit HomeSlice! The mood, the service, the people and the food are incredible! Salads are delicious and huge, pizzas New York style in Chicago are large and delicious. And those wings…incredible! You’re not going to go wrong with this place! It’s going to be a favorite of mine!

Nice spot to meet up with a friend for a casual meal and a couple drinks. Food was pretty average. I've been to the original Happy Camper location at Wells and Division many times and the food has always been better there.
