Rolled into House of Biryani for lunch on a Wednesday—grabbed the Chicken Biryani special and a Haleem to sip. Biryani was packed with flavor and the Haleem was rich and warming, just hit the spot. Staff were super friendly and chill. Kitchen kept pace, no major wait. Cozy Devon Street gem. Can’t wait to come back for their Friday buffet!

I was disappointed to find that the prices charged were higher than what was listed on the menu. There was no prior notice or explanation — the total was simply raised at the time of payment. It’s frustrating and feels misleading.

The ambience was not that great with a poor reception. Food was ok to have. Might be because I went exactly at the opening time of that shop that day

I tried the chicken biryani — it was a bit spicy, but I liked it. Still, I miss the authentic Hyderabadi biryani from India. Overall, I would definitely recommend it. The price is reasonable, but I feel the quantity could be a bit more — enough to comfortably serve two people.

If only there was an option for zero stars ,we was served dal that was stale ,frozen naan which was not even chewable ,they refused to replace naan ,took the daal away and said the fridge is not working thats why may be the daal was spoiled and the tandoor is not working so no fresh naan ,charged us full amount for naan and talawa gosh even the tawala gosh was pathetic not fresh at all .the most frustrating thing is I am a regular customer at this place for many years,he couldnt be honest to me ,he should have told me dont order the daal or should have said we dont have it .but they choose to cheat .

Nayeem Bhai's paan is the only reason to go to this restaurant. No matter how many times they change the name of the restaurant, as long as Nayeem Bhai makes paan, this will be my go to.

Really Disappointed with the food, they gave old butter Naan and plain naan very hard to chew ,I told to replace them even the Chicken 65 was not good in taste and extreme spicy.

The food was a let down, we ordered the mutton mundi and the rice had a funny smell. They also served us frozen deep naan which I have never seen at any other restaurant. Horrible quality!

The mutton was super delicious. Mild and yet full of flavor. The “mild” butter chicken was super spicy. I could not eat it, and they were not willing to replace it. The butter naan was good, but they were out of garlic naan. They did not have a to-go lid for my delicious mango lasse.
