Hope 51 has been one of my favorite restaurants since they're open. Tonight had the kale and grain salad with salmon and it was just perfect. Had to get in one last meal before they shut down this Saturday (June 9, 2024. Eager to see what's a good folks that let us entertain. You will bring to this hallowed space
Nathan was our server and he was amazing. The best way to describe it is just that he has the most amazing energy that immediately and automatically made us love the restaurant prior to even trying food! From one server to another, thank you for your kindness!
I want to thank Hub51 for being patient with me and my sister as we were traveling from out of town running late for our reservation and they still welcomed us. And I especially want to give them a huge thank you for teaming up with Prince's The Immersive Experience and having a Prince brunch celebrating him, his music, and encouraging other to attend TIE. Thank You for the hospitality once again and the food and atmosphere with the purple lights, and our server Lillie G. was great too.Update (5/23) Just wanted 2 bid farewell 2 Hub 51. Thank You for your hospitality a year and a half ago when we visit from Indy and 4 the 15/16 years 2 Chicago. Bless U on your next chapter.

Had a wonderful experience here in April! Our server was attentive and very friendly. We tried the famous nachos, sushi and carrot cake. Everything was delicious but the carrot cake was PHENOMENAL! Will definitely be back each time I visit Chicago.

I used to LOVE hub51! I came into town and invited my co workers to dinner here. They weren't all that busy but we couldn't get a drink at bar (arrived early for rez). We were seated and the server forgot to come see us, took our drink order and didn't bring the drinks and was just overall non-existent. I know it's hard to get good employees these days and this is clearly the case...I am just so disappointed to get only 3 dinners in Chicago on my trip and waste one on this less than mediocre experience. To end on a positive, the female host was so friendly and was able to chase down our server on a few occasions.
Overall my experience was great. Staff was amazing however food tasted very bland for Brunch. I had the breakfast burrito and was sort of disappointed. Bottomless mimosas were awesome. Would I come back ? Yes but for drinks
Honestly it was just meh! We went for brunch and the food was pretty boring for a downtown place

We had a beautiful dinner at Hub 51. Our server Zoe was excellent. It was Saturday night so as you can imagine it was very busy and quite loud. I would definitely suggest making a reservation on such a busy night. Also get the Bang Bang cauliflower- it's unspeakably good!!

Our server was excellent. The food over all was good. The brussel sprout salad was excellent with chicken. spinach dip appitizer was great. everyone loved it. we put that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. they asked who it was when checking in and that was it. i figure if you bring it up you might do something. we didn't care but if you are booking here to celebrate an event. you need to do your own thing
Beautiful venue, with separate bar and restaurant areas, and modern yet elegant decor. The ambiance is perfect for romantic dinners or gatherings with friends, accompanied by pleasant background music. The service is impeccable and super friendly. The menu offers a limited selection of dishes, including both meat and fish options. The desserts are excellent (skillet brownie suggested).Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

food was great, service great - music is terrible - top 40 pop + the worst remakes of classic tunes you could imagine. its sad that i just want to eat and leave because the music is so terrible.
Went for the Tokyo Last Call pop-up. Good service. The space was cramped, decor pretty much non-existent, and the music a couple notches too loud. The drinks by the guest bartender was pretty good but the selection was very limited.

We had a great brunch with our great server Schraga! We started with the donut and coffee drink. Then we had the egg tacos and the great burrito. We also took home some sushi thst was packed beautifully and delicious. Our fave go to
We had brunch. Food was good, cost was as expected. Service was okay. She never said her name, didn't ask if cream and sugar were needed for the coffee ordered. Took a while to bring the cream after we asked. She also really didn't check to see if we wanted anything else.
April 10, 2024: edit: got a takeout salad after the eclipse. Chopped salad added quinoa and kale and lemon dressing. Ate 1.5 days later and exquisite! So freshBest Tuna Poke of all LEYE. Also consistently great service and amazing salads and specials. One of my go-to neighborhood places.
