I visited Holloway's Bar for happy hour while staying at the Springhill Suites Downtown Chicago. I opted to sit at the bar. It wasn't packed, which was great, since I was decompressing from work. The happy hour menu a variety of drinks and small bites. I opted for the Love potion for drinks. It was very whimsical, yet good. Rob, the bartender, was amiable and efficient handling the crowd at the bar. I didn't eat anything, but I enjoyed my old fashion cocktail. (I accidentally pressed 5 stars) for the food but was unable to reset them because I didn't have any food at the bar.

I didn't eat here because I'm in Chicago and there's so much incredible food outside, but I will say that Jacob and Rob were incredible. Super friendly, helpful, and very attentive. I could ask them questions, and their suggestions were like golden eggs. I would 100% be back again and feel like I was meeting up with old friends.
