Short stop just for a drink. Obviously very local. Pianist for the atmosphere and crowded bar. Very good service. Too bad we couldn't find a place to settle in and stay longer... Remember to book.

This is now my favorite restaurant in Chicago. The presentation of the fish to introduce the customers to the choices of fish was unique and interesting. The filet steaks are as delicious as the seafood. The bass, snapper, and perch melted in your mouth. The muscles and shrimp appetizers were fresh and tasty. The cream spinach and asparagus were side dishes also delicious and hot. To top it off, we had chocolate mouse cake to die for. Our expresso Martin, Manhattan and old fashion along with a bottle wine really set the mood. I can not say enough about this place.Parking: I used the Spot Hero app. To find a place for $15 on Cedar Street, good for 3 hours or $18 for 7 hours. One block away. Valet is only $20.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs, and there is a side door to get a wheel chair through.
Amazing place for seafood or a steak. The wait staff is excellent. The seafood tower and fresh fish are excellent.

Our experience at Hugo Frogs was outstanding, largely thanks to our waiter, Josiah. His attentiveness and knowledge elevated our dining experience. The explanations of the fish and catches were incredibly helpful in making our selections. The highlight of our meal was the captain seafood tower. Each protein was fresh and beautifully presented. From the giant shrimp to the flavorful crab, every bite was a delight to have. Also make sure to leave room for desert, apparently everything is made in house. Highly recommend the cherry pie!

The white fish with mashed potatoes was big enough to feed a family of 4. Not that I'm complaining! But I maybe ate a third of it. They had live music in the bar on a Tuesday night.
