Worst food ever eaten. All four plates were not good - hardly even edible. Very overpriced. Disappointing dinner after a game.
Amazing burger. Overall great food and ambiance. Smaller restaurant with a great bar /specialty cocktails and located right across from Wrigley.
We grabbed a 5:45 reservation before the Cubs game. I'm not sure which was better — the drinks (Old Fashioned, perfect), the food (fish), or the service (super attentive and warm). Just a great experience. Not cheap, but nothing this good is.
Friendly helpful server we, just right pregame snacks (frilled asparagus, blackened cauliflower along with decent margaritas) in a perfect close to the ballpark setting.
Seem like there's only one server for the entire restaurant. Service was slow. The menu does not have gluten-free designations and get mixed answers when asking about what is gluten-free and what is not. Had to call a manager over to confirm. Too loud in the restaurant from music. Small restaurant so difficult to hear servers or even hold a conversation without having to raise your voice. Food was very good.
Main dishes were excellent but the side dishes came out after we finished our main dishes. Mentioned the issue to the server and no response to make it right. Also they charge $6 for a plain iced tea with refills being another $6. Way over priced with mediocre service.
Great little place in the Heart of Wrigleyville. Not the loud and crowded kids bar like Wrigleyville is known for. Mordecai is an upscale Adult meeting place. We had the best seats in the house ( back left corner). Service was very Sub-par for the decor and atmosphere. I was expecting 5 star service but they fell way short. I have had much better service at Dive bars. Our waitress was not attentive to serving. I had to flag her down multiple times, to take our drink order, get us water, take our App and entree orders. She was more concerned with clearing and wiping down tables for another waitress. (Maybe a table porter should do that) The place was maybe 1/2 filled. Halfway through our time there, and just before we were to place our entree order, she introduced us to a different waitress and said she is ending her shift ( this was around 6:15 pm). I can't recall that ever happening to me before. As we sat waiting to place our entree order, a gentleman in a suite asked, "Is there something you need?". We thought he was a customer. I said we are just wanting to place our food order. He replied "I can take that for you." And he did, without paper or pen. Our order was perfect and we enjoyed the rest of the night. If that was the manager, you know how to serve. Hire/train staff that display the same passion and class of service you exude and we would be back often. Also, watch for the 3% adder fee. I asked if it was for credit card customers, Yep, I paid cash and had it removed. Only ONE (Yes 1) bathroom for everyone. Only second worst bathroom, Mia Francesca's is #1 worst.
Good food. Attentive service. Very near Wrigley Field. Good choice for a pre-game lunch or dinner.
Great spot with excellent cocktails and food. Right across the street from Wrigley Field and fast service pre-game. Highly recommend.
Good food, service and cocktails. Fresh pasta and burgers were the highlights for food. Server was helpful on getting us out on time.

The food was pretty good, but it was pretty expensive. Our server was not very attentive and we had to wave him over several times to get our food and drink waters. This wouldn't have been a big deal except the restaurant was virtually empty at dinner time. You seem more interesting in socializing with his coworkers.
Caesar salad was excellent. Half chicken... good fav/ nice and smoky. Mushroom skewers excellent. Gnocchi was pretty good... I love vodka sauce but I am not raving about this one, the gnocchi itself was excellent... could of used some fresh ground pepper or Parm maybe but not offered. Also, my SB was from Fennville, no thank you. Maybe an upgrade to your wine menu?
We went here since it was close to our hotel. I had the walleye and ceaser salad both delicious. My husband tried the hanger steak which was very chewy and he didn't like it. It looked like the server spoke to a manager , but no one came to our table to check. Service was very slow, my husband asked for dessert as I asked for the check he had the Cracker Jack dessert, which was tasty. Would I return . Yes. I did enjoy my dinner and location is a plus.
As always, enjoyed our time gazing at Wrigley! The cocktails and food were amazing, but despite the space being slow, the service was as well. Chefs and bartenders are always on point here. Servers not up to level that they should be.
This place is a Wrigleyville gem if you're looking for something other than a sportsbar burger/beer situation. The cocktail menu is quietly outstanding and the food and service do not disappoint! Don't skip the tiramisu!
