Wonderful spot with a nice outdoor patio as well as cozy indoor seating offers interesting takes on the classic selections. Every bite was delicious. Futomaki, Nigirizushi, shinyu and spider were all wonderful.

Had the yakitori and they are only ok. Missing that smokiness you get from the chicken on charcoal. Though the tenderness was pretty good. The sauce also is too thick, masking flavor instead of being nice and caramelized. It's was also missing the smokiness. The chicken skin was fried, not grilled which is a bummer and defeats the purpose. You lose all the fat flavor from the skin and the slight chewiness that should exist. Sushi was mid. The fatty tuna sashimi, skirt steak yakitori, torched, spicy salmon, and shish to peppers were standouts for us tonight!!
