The menu is limited, but my burger was great. I liked both their pale ale and their IPA. The physical plant is new, modern, and spotless. Once they build their customer base, the place will seem less impersonal. While they have screens, I would not characterize this as a sports bar. I look forward to returning.
Second look: it is getting busier and more welcoming. The number of beers on tap has increased substantially, as has the breadth of styles. Unlike many bars, the noise level is tolerable - at least in part because they keep their sound system at a low level. That said, it can get noisy if a large after work group piles in. Their appetizer menu is still limited. Fried pickles would be a good addition.
Fall 2025 - they have added beers, menu items, and customers. On a Sunday evening after a Bears road game, they had a good crowd but were still below capacity. The staff is unchanged, friendly, and efficient.

Great classy bar! Delicious drinks, beautiful bar, comfortable seats, restaurant area, great bar tenders, wait staff! We watched the Bears- Cowboys game here! They had the game playing, which was great. There are 3 Tvs to choose from, then 2 behind us, if you turn around. The Espresso Martini was amazing!! The Dirty Martini was great too! The flavors all flowed together- so perfect!!! The beers were delicious! Great flavors! A great place to enjoy the game, friends, and relax!

Came into town to stay for Texas A&M/Notre Dame game, staying a couple blocks away. We walked over to this spot for dinner and were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. Service was great, food was great, and they have some delicious beers. Highly recommend!

I used to love this place. Their beers are amazing. But they recently changed their happy hour to end at 6, when it was 7 before, and only a very small selection of their beers are now happy hour, unlike before when it was almost all of them.
Very disappointed.

We stopped here to pregame before watching the Cubs game elsewhere. We ended up staying for the game. Waitress was very nice and recommended the Urbs in Horto cocktail for my girlfriend: was delicious- 5 stars. I ended up getting one too. I ordered Tokyo-style smash burger (Imanaga was pitching; just felt right) and it was delicious. Burger wasn't super juicy but everything together including beer cheese was great- 4.5 stars. Daughter got brownie and loved it. Order flights of beer and several old-school Chicago cocktails. Wonderful place. Cubs won. Great night! Bartender was outstanding (not said lightly, most places make bad cocktails) and made an excellent whiskey sour. Staff and service were great.
